The Times: Night Sky 2002 by Staff of Times Books Publishers
Compiled and edited by "The Times" astronomy correspondent, Michael Hendrie, this is a concise guide to seeing the stars, moon and planets with the naked eye. It presents a month-by-month guide to the night sky in the year 2002. Twelve monthly charts show the night sky objects above the horizon late in the evening, whilst notes opposite each chart describe the visibility of the planets and the phases of the Moon. The guide for 2002 includes new information on sunset, sunrise and nautical twilight times, in addition to a table highlighting the principal meteor showers during the year, and notes on other important events in the astronomical calendar.
