Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This is a book that lives up to the author's reputation for really interesting, well developed characters. I wanted to keep reading just to find out how Francine changes with the surprises and misfortunes occurring in her life. This isn't just another story of a high powered career woman reassessing her life. This is an intertwining of lives that all evolve in surprising ways, with interesting and unexpected twists and turns. There is even a tie-in to a character appearing in the author's previous books. As in the author's previous books, the Pacific Northwest setting was a bonus for me. All the characters become people with whom the reader can empathize and like. It is a nice reading book and I highly recommend it.
