This book is the result of countless hours of research and life experience in the transgender community. The articles are designed to help, inform and stimulate conversations on the subject of transgender people. Often marginalized and misunderstood, transgender people struggle on a daily basis with discrimination and harassment from the general population. It is my firm hope that this book helps give you some of the tools to deal with some of the aspects of transitioning and being a transgender person.

Only really talks about mtf and there's so much anger in the words used throughout the book. Kind of immature styled

Gender dysmorphia is a mental illness and should be treated as such. If someone with schizophrenia thought they were the president, should we encourage that delusion by saying "yeah, you know what, you are the president"? Absolutely not! We should treat them and help them get better. We are not denying someone's identity or humanity by saying they are delusional. We are simply stating facts. If someone thinks they are a secret agent for the government when they're not, they are delusional. If someone thinks they are black when they're actually white, they are delusional. If someone thinks they're 20 years old when they're actually 60, they are delusional. If a man thinks he's a woman when he was clearly born a man, he is delusional.
