I have read every Stephen King novel...I've read Mrs. King's 'Survivor' (3 stars) and decided to give this novel a try. I love the fact that she weaves some of SK's characters into her book, however, with this novel, that is about all I enjoyed. Her characters are not as 'deep' as those I normally look for. I wanted her heroine to be STRONGER than she was. I totally disliked the sceenplay that was interwoven through the story; it had no bearing on the story whatsoever. I will probably read her again, if only so that she improves upon this book.

Several years ago I read small World by Tabitha. Excellent book. It was the first book and the first time I knew that she had written anything. Seeing that she has several books, I am going to have the summer reading lined up. This book is pretty good. The concept is not so original, but the writer is.

I borrowed this book from the library. Being a fan of Stephen King, I wanted to try Tabitha's stories. It started a bit slow, but I really wanted to keep reading it. I'm now reading 'Pearl', and I plan on reading all of her other books that I can find. I have noticed that she mentions a few of her husbands characters in her books, too - I like that - it gives some familiararity.

This book is too slow...Advertised as a suspense type book by the club I'm in - I WAS DISAPPOINTED! What was up with the screenplay interwoven into the framework of the story...Eeegads. Enough - read romance dribble before this
