George Augustus Robinson, the Chief Protector, of the Port Phillip Aboriginal Protectorate was an inveterate traveler. He spent a total of three years travelling throughout south-eastern Australia between 1839 and 1852, making him the most traveled public official in early Victoria. This special edition extracts from Robinson's journals every account of every journey he made out of Melbourne during his stay in Victoria.
