•Panty-Dropping Hotness This was a cute story that had me not only smiling from the beginning but had me chuckling throughout. There were some frustration issues too, but then that’s how life is. Especially when dealing with a wedding, siblings and friends. AMD maybe some residual high school issues. This was my first Caitlyn Blue book, but I’m looking forward to more stories within this series. Each one will be another couple within their inner circle…. Exciting stuff! Emma has had a crush on Zach since the first day of being in speech class together in high school. Unfortunately he ends up saying her older sister instead of her. He’s a playboy who prefers short term relationships, while Emma is the long term, forever type. Can these two be just a wedding hookup fling, or will it turn out to be more? You’ll have to read The Trouble with Bachelors to find out. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Tasty Book Tours through Instafreebie for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual situations and adult language, this book is recommended for readers 17 and older!

Emma Callahan and Zach Thorne are two people I wish were real. I think I would get along with them fabulously! Their story is one of the wrong time, Emma was fourteen when she met seventeen year old Zach and was head over heels. She saw him first but because of the age difference her older sister got to date him. Poor Emma had to watch the man she loved date her sister, which would be awful enough but when he does something to shatter her image of him… Well let’s just say it’s another ten years before these two really talk again. I wanted to read this book because the cover looked so fun and I wanted a funny book. I was not disappointed in the least! Caitlyn had me laughing to tears and loving the jokes and banter between all the characters in this book! The cousins are the best, always there for Emma but also the ones to slap some well needed sense into her. Zach has a lot to fix with his reputation if he wants to convince Emma he wants more than a fling. What he does, both dumb and sweet will make you love him. Dreams are realized by both and you will truly enjoy watching these two fight their ‘first instincts’ to grow into the people they are meant to be! Grab your copy and watch for the rest of this series as it comes out, I know I will be.

A Sweet start to a series...3.5 stars! I found this story entertaining with Emma and Zack thrown together because of their roles as maid of honor and best man, and need to come up with ideas for a joint bachelor/bachelorette themed party. Though Emma’s had a crush on Zack ever since they were in high school, she’s not about to give Zach any room to get into her pants. He’s one delicious, gorgeous panty melter, and that’s all he’ll be to her. Apparently breaking her sister Julie’s heart soured her opinion of Zack. But there’s a reason behind why he did that and Emma does not realize the truth. So they dance around their attraction. The chemistry between them is irresistible, but it’s a slow sexual tension that builds up. It’s enough for Zach to reconsider being single and finally take the plunge for Emma. The Trouble With Bachelors is a fun, sweet and sexy start to a series. Having said that, there is a slew of supporting characters and future subplots that were thrown into the mix that really took away from the story and our main characters. The onslaught of taking that all was overload and took my focus away on several parts of the book. But I think this series has promise and Ms. Blue has great writing style in telling a story. I received and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Zach Thorne and Emma Callahan have a history. She's had a crush on him in high school and then he started dating her sister. Now they are reconnecting due to her sister's upcoming marriage to his best friend. I loved how the story moved along with them reconnecting to getting closer as they spent more time together and then onto lovers with developing deeper feelings. I just love these two. They just 'fit'. One thing I would of liked to see is Emma putting her sister in her place. (Well, her family too) The author does a fabulous job protraying her as the whiny self center person that she is. She's been catered to her whole life and it's time for this woman to grow up and face reality. This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this fun read.

A sweet reunion story that takes us on a journey of friendship, heartbreak and how to overcome the roadblocks in your way! The one man that Emma Callahan has never been able to get out of her mind is suddenly back in her life again! It was a silly childhood crush, that ended in heartache when he took up with her older sister ... but it was a feeling she's never felt again. Now they are being foisted together as Best Man and Maid of Honor as her sister marries his best friend and she can't think of any better way to get him out of her system then having a wedding fling with him! Zach Thorne has a reputation as a ladies man ... the love 'em and leave 'em type ... and it's well earned, but he just has never felt the draw to settle down before ... until now! He can't believe how differently he felt for Emma when they started to spend time together with wedding festivities. He can't get her out of his mind and is determined to make her see that he's not just in this for the short hall ... she's different!

Serial dater/Playboy. Ex-girlfriend’s sister. One wedding. Too much time together. Things go on a ride for their lives. Emma had been the girl in the background. She was the sister to his ex-girlfriend. Now she was the maid of honor to his best man. Falling in love with her was not part of the play to get through this wedding. Getting to know her on a deeper level was not part of his plan. Emma and Zach had a chemistry that transcended the years. Even though he was off limits because he was an ex of her sister’s. Their go with the flow and allow things to happen as they may. May not have been the best of ideas from either of them. Things progress on and the end seems to be in their minds too much. The was a mix of cheer /joy, angst, pitfalls, and love that finally had a chance. Zach and Emma had to open their eyes and see beyond what was the past. I found good characters in this fun read.

There is so much I enjoyed about Emma and Zach getting together – friends (of a sort) to lovers, high school crush, taboo relationship, reformed rake … there’s just a lot here to make me happy! Zach is misunderstood in quite a few places throughout the story. He’s known to be a bit of a player but he really is a nice guy. He’s got a good heart, does a lot for his friends, and when he comes across a girl he wants to settle down with he’s willing to do a lot for her. Unfortunately she’s got some baggage that makes it hard to believe he’s sincere. Most of the time I really liked Emma but she really doesn’t give Zach a break. She’s struggling with her attraction to him and is putting a lot of that on him when he really doesn’t deserve it. He may have a history (and really a big part of it was in high school, people!) but he never does anything to her to suggest that he isn’t being true. I think a little openness and a whole lot of good old fashion talking would have helped these too a lot :) While the story appealed to me and I enjoyed the feelings developing between these two, there were a couple of writing style choices that I found a little strange. One was the way that the people and their lives were revealed to us – it almost felt like this was a middle of a series story but it is the first and all the other characters have books coming up. Blue does a great job of giving you the information that you need but it is presented in a way that it felt like you should know it already and she’s getting new readers up to speed. It doesn’t keep the characters from being interesting (which they are and I’m looking forward to getting their stories, especially Emma’s sister because there is some complicated stuff going on with her) or the story from flowing smoothly, it just seemed an odd choice for a first book in the series. The other thing was that there were a couple of times when I got a little confused about the timing of things. A chapter would end but when the next one started I wasn’t confident about how much time had elapsed and what happened to the characters during that time. The explanation would come but not before I felt just a little bit lost first. And even then I’m not 100% sure I got all of the details about what happened. It doesn’t keep the story from moving well or for me to feel like I got a complete and enjoyable story, but it felt an odd choice to me. Overall, though, the fun that is Zach falling in love and winning over Emma far outweighs any trouble spots that come up. With 5 more romances for this group coming soon, I think a lot of this will work itself out and we’ll be left with just the joy of a great love story. And I’m ready to find out all their secrets (Emma’s sister especially – that girl is just a big ball of conflict). *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

Zach and Emma have a connection right from the beginning, and not just a sexual one. Even though Emma has crushed on him since high school, it isn't until they are thrown into the roles of best man and maid of honor that Zach starts to see Emma as more than his ex-girlfriend's little sister. As if that alone doesn't complicate things, Emma sister is starting to have doubts about the man she is about to marry, who just happens to be Zach's best friend. Emma and Zach have an small issue with communicating their feelings for each other, causing them both to doubt what is happening between them. While Emma can't count on her sister's help with the situation, she has her three cousins to help her out. I loved them and can't wait to see what trouble they get into with their bachelors. If you're looking for a sweet and sexy romance, I would definitely recommend. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

The Trouble with Bachelors by Caitlyn Blue is book number one in the Windy City Bachelors series. This is Zach Thorne and Emma Callahan's story. Zach is a few years older than Emma but were assigned to work together in a class group project. Emma developed a crush on him but he ended up dating her sister who was closer to his age. Time has moved on and now her sister is marrying Zach's best friend. Zach and Emma are thrown together to do maid of honor and best man duties. The chemistry between the two is hot and steamy. Zach has a reputation for just having flings. As Emma and Zach spend time together he realizes that Emma is different but what exactly does that mean since he isn't a relationship type guy. Emma tries to keep her heart out of this relationship. Will the two let their guards down and take a chance on love? I liked Zach and Emma's characters. I connected with Zach's character better. I did not like Emma's sister. She came off very selfish and very spoiled. I felt sorry for the guy she was marrying. This is a sexy romance with a lot of ups and downs due to miscommunications. FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Amount of sex 4 / 5 How explicit 3 / 5 Romance 4 / 5 Overall: 4.5 / 5 (Rounded to 5 / 5) Emma lives with her cousins in their grandparent’s Victorian house and works at her family’s antique store. Her older sister, Julie, is getting married and Emma is hosting a co-ed Bride/Groom Shower at her house. The best man, Zach, happens to be Julie’s ex-boyfriend from high school as well as the groom’s best friend. Emma has had a crush on Zach since she first set eyes on him in Speech class, before he started dating her sister. At the Shower, Zach realizes how incredible Emma is and they begin to casually see each other. Emma does not take it seriously, believing it’s only a temporary fling. What happens when real feelings begin to grow? Will they be able to make a relationship work? The Trouble with Bachelors is the first book in the Windy City Bachelors series by Caitlyn Blue and the first book that I have read from the author. The story line is fun and well-paced and the characters are engaging and realistic. I was immediately engrossed in this story and read late into the night. I recommend you adding this one to your TBR list! ** Voluntarily reviewed from an advanced copy **

The best romances sneak up on a reader and capture their imaginations and hearts before they even know what happened. Zach and Emma were a joy to experience. Obvious in their affection for each other. Clueless on what to do about their feelings. The Trouble With Bachelors is that they knock you off your feet before you have time to break the fall. What a fun trip to make. I stumbled on something wonderful and look forward to more from author Caitlyn Blue and her Windy City Bachelors too.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Oh I'm so excited! I found a new author I love! And she is putting out a whole series of the people I met and fell in love with in this book. The characters are so real and believable. The intimacy is pretty hot too. You have 2 people that have known each other for more than 10 years but while she has had a major crush on him for that whole time, he has just seen her as a friend or kinda like a little sister. Now suddenly he has noticed her in a whole new light. He realizes she is a beautiful, sexy woman. Trouble is, he has a reputation as a playboy and she is a forever kind of girl. Plus he is her sisters ex boyfriend from HS. Is he serious about her? Can she believe him if he says he wants more than one night? Will others cause conflict to try tearing them apart? Get ready for Caitlin Blue, she is a fabulous writer with some terrific stories to tell.

I really enjoyed this book about Emma and Zach. Emma had a crush on Zach, when they were in high school. He started dating her sister Julie, who you find out is a self-centered witch, just sayin'. I loved reading about the cousins Gabby, Sarah, and Brynn and hopefully they will get a story in the future. Caitlyn Blue is a new author to me, but I recommend this fast read to everyone who enjoys a sweet romance
