The Trouble with Faking by Rochelle Morgan

Faking a relationship is never a good idea, but Andi's convinced it won't be fake for long. Everything will work out perfectly with Damien. Until Noah steps into the picture and confuses everything ...

- - -

Andi's been in love with the boy next door for years. She's convinced Damien's the perfect guy for her. So it's probably not a good idea to pretend to be his girlfriend to help him snag the attention of someone else. But Andi knows it won't be for long. Soon enough, Damien will figure out he loves her too, and their fake relationship will become a real one.

Damien's best friend Noah is the complete opposite of Mr Perfect: rude and annoying, with trouble-maker written all over him. Definitely not Andi's type. Which makes it all the more confusing when she realises how much she likes spending time with him.

When the fake relationship plan starts working, Andi should be overjoyed. It's what she wanted, right? Except ... what if perfect isn't so perfect after all? What if messy, imperfect, and real are exactly what she needs?

The Trouble with Faking is a sweet, clean contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone novel.

First of all I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book of The Trouble series by Rachel Morgan and I must say that this is the first one that I've read, but you don't need to read the previous books to understand what is going on in this one but I'll definitely read the other books and there is no reason in missing the first two books when you have read this one, that's impossible. This was such a cute, clean and funny romance story. I fell in love with the characters and I felt a connection with Andi because she's just Andi, she's funny, confident, different and unique, she loves reading books and she's a booktuber, that made me love her even more. I enjoyed reading this book. The only think that I would change is the fact that the translations are at the end of the book, but it was a really great book. I'm really glad that I signed up to review this book.

* I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review. * This is book 3 in this series by Rachel Morgan and each one continues to get better and better! The reader doesn't need to have read the previous books to understand what is going on in this book, but there is no reason to miss checking out the amazing first 2 in the series!  Author Rachel Morgan takes the characters, the story and the location and brings the readers right into it.  She makes the readers feel like they are a part of the story and the reader has no problems picturing what the characters look like, how they are feeling and where they are in the world.  She uses such graphic details that I could be standing on the college campus with Andie, Mike, Noah and Damien and be able to pick them out of the crowd. I love the character development, the banter that the author has between the characters and the relationships that evolve and change as the story progresses.  The plot is solid, it flows smoothly and has several twists and turns that the reader doesn't see coming.  The author weaves a story that hooks the reader from the first sentence and doesn't let them go.  She is able to hold the readers attention and keep their attention from wandering - even preventing the reader from doing the things in life they need to just need to keep reading so that you can see where the book goes next!! I am already looking forward to book 4 in the series and can't wait to see what happens next to the characters that she has been introducing us to along this journey. I love the way in which she is able to wrap up each story so there is no cliffhanger, but she still has the reader wanting to read more - her books are just that good! There may not be a cliffhanger - what next - but you are definitely ready for the next book to read!  Add this and her others to your TBR list and you won't be sorry, they are just that good!!  Start the new year out with an amazing book - this one!!!  Enjoy this and her others and like me you will be looking forward to the next book as soon as you finish this one! ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. ***

Andi has longed for the boy next door for years, but can she finally make him fall for her in Rachel Morgan's The Trouble with Faking? Morgan packs some powerful twists and turns into this novel. Andi has been one of my favorite characters of the series. She's quirky and confident and bold on the outside, yet she hides who she is and what she feels from almost everyone, even herself. I wish I could be friends with Andi in real life. She's so cool with her book reviews on YouTube and the stuff she crafts on Etsy. She gets into complicated situations, which almost ruin everything. I enjoyed the sweetness of a school girl crush between her and Damien and loved the interaction between her and Damien's best friend. I love how Morgan has set this series in South Africa where she lives. It's exotic at times and so normal at others. The Trouble with Faking by Rachel Morgan is a great addition to the Trouble series. I'm looking forward to the next book!
