About the Author
Author of mature young adult and new adult novels, L A is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.
Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find L A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.

I don’t normally read YA/NA or bully stories but as LA Cotton is a new author to me I found myself volunteering to listen to this audio book. Having listened to other books by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross I went into this with an open mind. Hailee Raine dislikes Cameron Chase with an intensity that most would find overwhelming. All she has to do is survive one more year before she can escape her home town, her step brother Jason and his football playing mates. Cameron plays for the Rixon Raiders and has colleges lining up to sign him. His best friend Jason is not a nice person, particularly to his step sister Hailee and of course being a best friend Cam is often just as much of a jerk to Hailee too. I really loved Hailee, she seemed to be the only person who didn’t bow down to the football players in the town. Not only that, but she was brave, fierce and not afraid to stand her ground. She also showed her vulnerability and confusion as she struggled to understand why Jason hated her so much. An emotional roller coaster of a listen that at times made me angry. I have to say I was so happy that Cameron came through for Hailee in the end. The narration was great and absolutely enhanced my listening pleasure. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
The Trouble With You By L.A. Cotton is a YA/NA enemies-to-lovers sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross. All I can say is Wow! This is an amazing book and I cannot wait until book two is released. Lianne did an amazing job with the characters. I just had to know how the story was going to end. Sarah and Wen were absolutely amazing duo on this. I just love Sarah she has a voice that just pulls you into the storyline. This is the first audio book I have heard with Wen and I absolutely loved his deep gruff voice. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Young Adult, Enemies-To-Lovers Romance, or Sports Romance. #AudiobookObessionReviwer #AudioBookObsession
I love a good YA book and L.A Cotton definitely delivers it with The Trouble With You. Cameron and Hailee have such great chemistry. This enemies to lovers, bully romance has it all. So much angst! So much drama! It will have you hooked and wanting more. Lianne has created a book that will have you captivated. This series is one not to be missed!
Hailee Raine is counting down the days until she can say goodbye to Rixon High and all the painful memories it holds. With constantly being tormented by her step-brother Jason and his annoying friends, and being the victim of their pranks, they have ruined any hope she had at enjoying her time in high school. And unfortunately her home life isn't much better, what happens at school always follows her home, and more times than not she ends up feeling like the enemy in her own home. When her mother married Jason's dad she had a small glimmer of hope that she'd finally have a family to call her own, but Jason had other ideas and turned against her the day her and her mom moved in. Then she met Cameron Chase, Jason's friend, and she thought she might finally have an ally in Jason's world, but that thought didn't last long... he too was turned against her. But that didn't stop her from admiring Cameron from afar, as much as she would like to dislike him and all he stands for, she can't help but want to be near him. He draws her in like a moth to a flame, but every time she gets just within reaching distance, he does something that pushes her away. That is until now... the tables have now turned and Cameron is the one seeking her out, question is can she trust him enough to let him get close? The Trouble with You is an dramatic and angst-filled little page-turner that will capture your attention from the very first page and hold it hostage until the last. With drama being stirred up at every turn you can help but get wrapped up in the lives of these characters, and feel for them every step of the way. This heartfelt story follows the lives of Hailee and Cameron, an unlikely couple that are thrown together by a matter of circumstance, but constantly drawn to on another by unexpected attraction. As much as Hailee detested Cameron and all he stood for, she just couldn't seem to resist him, he was everything she hated, but loved too. These two circled around each other for darn near the whole book, their attraction creating a slow burn romance, one that had the angst at an all time high. I loved this story for so many reasons, it had the soul penetrating angst I crave, the tragic love story that really torments the heart, and the drama that kept me coming back for more. I have to say it is one of my favorite first reads to date, the story line was perfectly penned, and the characters were unforgettable!! Highly recommend!! I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
