The True Match by Margaret Carroll

Ruby Lattingly, the high-maintenance bride left at the altar in The Write Match, is back as the host of a television talk show that helps troubled couples either patch things up or break up. More often the latter proves to be the case. Naturally, as far as successful relationships go, Ruby gives rather bad advice. As Ruby receives unwanted pointers on the male mind from the show's macho cameraman Hutch, sparks soon fly as the diva from New York's Upper East Side and the "Cowboy Cameraman" spar over how best to counsel couples in crisis, even though neither is particularly lucky in love. But as a secret from Hutch's romantic past comes to light and turmoil erupts, the pair must face their own commitment phobias and resolve their affections for each other, all while the cameras roll.

it's ok if you are a child, not for adults, kind of tedious and extremely superficial. won't read anymore.

I notice "dumb" didn't say if he/she read the book and "anonymous" must be hiding from someone/something. A fun read and can be enjoyed by both sexes. (Just don't tell "the boys".) Ms. Carroll is going from strength to strength and I see she has a couple of thrillers coming out this fall. If they're as well written as her first two romantic novels, they should be terrific. It doesn't claim to be "Anna Karenina" or "Crime and Punishment" so I don't see why people can be disappointed in a few words.

Light and happy! I would recommend it for all ages. A refreshing and sweet love story with a sophisticated setting (it's obvious this author knows and loves NYC as much as I do) and interesting plot(I love to read for once about a young woman with a serious career). Reading about Ruby and her macho boyfriend Hutch was very entertaining and I like the fact that there was no bad language or graphic love scenes. All Avalon books are G-rated and that's why I like them. I enjoyed Margaret Carroll's first book The Write Match very much and wanted to read her next. Her characters are easy to fall in love with! I hope to see much more from this talented author.

This is the perfect book for any season... a great summer read or wonderful with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa. I loved the characters and I enjoyed seeing the storyline unfold. If falling in love is exciting to you then this is the feel-good book for you. What a warm and lovely story about the things in life that make everyday special and exciting... this book and its characters are alive with emotion and excitement... grab it, hold on and enjoy the experience. If you love New York, the book will be all the more special!
