Overview

The country’s fate rests on a young tunnel runner’s shoulders. Lord Andrew Chattergoon is the spark that will ignite the long-awaited rebellion.

To find the true King’s hiding place, he must navigate an ancient and deadly maze of underground tunnels, using only the knowledge his legendary father has passed down to him.

For his first mission to succeed, Chattergoon must battle giant, poisonous creatures, overcome dangerous bandits, escape unstable passageways and win over mysterious desert nomads. Failure is not an option.

The Tunnel Runner is a short story set in the same world as epic fantasy Melokai (In the Heart of the Mountains #1). The action takes place twenty-five years before the events of the novel.

About the Author

Rosalyn Kelly grew up in the magical New Forest in the south of England and has lived around the UK, as well as in the Middle East and travelled all over the world. She studied English Literature and Language at Oxford Brookes University before embarking on a PR and marketing career. After ten years she quit her job, went travelling for four months and has been writing ever since, recently completing her first novel. MELOKAI is book one of her epic fantasy trilogy, In the Heart of the Mountains. The inspiration for which came when she was trekking in the mountains of Nepal’s stunning Annapurna Sanctuary. When she’s not putting her heart and soul into book two of the trilogy, she writes short stories, daydreams about where to travel to next, paints with acrylic, reads voraciously and writes reviews on her blog. MELOKAI is due for release in Autumn 2017.
