Unknown to most, there are tunnels beneath the streets of downtown Portland that once served a variety of unsavory characters including white slavers, opium dens and whore houses. Young, fit men would be drugged and taken below into the dark passageways to be sold onto sea-going ships. These "Shanghai Tunnels" earned Portland as the "the most dangerous city in America," and are now considered one of the most haunted places in the country. Now, three young men find themselves trapped underneath the streets of the city, confronting the ghosts and other horrible creatures that inhabit the passageways--all while trying to find a way up to the sun again. This is a fictional horror story set in the very real tunnels under Portland. This face-paced story will have you shivering from fear and give you goosebumps for a long time after reading it.
