Beautiful story of two broken people trying to fight the past, forge a future, and must face the demons inside to allow the love they have for each other to be fully revealed. This is an emotionally charged story you won't want to put down. Fierce, love, forgiveness.

I'm always quick to pick up a Jane Porter title. It was no different for The Tycoon's Forced Bride. I couldn't wait to see what Porter had in store with Malcolm and Ava. A forecasted snowstorm in the city gives Colm the perfect opportunity to take Ava away. While away from her structured daily life, Ava has a chance to see what may be possible. Porter delivers on emotion with The Tycoon's Forced Bride. There's the heartbreak a mother feels, guilt from angry words and actions, and hope for new possibilities. Add in irresistible chemistry and sexy scenes, this read is filled with all the feels.

Oh my, where to start!! From the beginning of reading this short story I was absolutely hooked. The Tycoon's Forced Bribe by Jane Porter is book #2 in the Bad Boy Short Story series and is a winner in my book. Ava Galvan is a renowned ballerina in a relationship with tycoon Malcolm McKenzie, when Ava tells Malcolm she is pregnant he doesn't believe her because of an incident that happened in his past, they argue and Malcolm hustles Ava off into a taxi. Upon leaving, the taxi has a devastating accident that results in Ava to lose everything except her child. Ava loses her career but even worse she suffers a brain injury resulting in a faulty short term memory and confusion. Not wanting to give too much away about this story I will tell you an incident happens that makes Ava realize she is better off away from Malcolm and her child Jack, leading to estrangement.Realizing how wrong he was about Ava, Malcolm carries alot of guilt and love for Ava and wants Ava back with him and Jack. Read the story to see if Malcolm Ava reach their HEA! This book is just great in my opinion. Jane Porter has spun a wonderful story that did not disappoint me!! A winner!! I received and ARC from the publisher for a honest review!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the character depth and development in this short novella. I really didn't expect to get invested in the characters, but I found myself cheering for and caring about Ava and Colm. Read this one, you won't be disappointed!

This story is both heartwrenching and uplifting. Ava Galvan struggles to see herself as more than a flawed woman after suffering devastating brain and physical injuries in a car accident a few years before. Her husband, Malcolm, strives to convince her that she is needed by her son and him. Ava feels the physical chemistry between them but can she rediscover the lief and love she had befoer the accident. Great dramatic but steamy romance by Jane Porter!

Easy to get into, and hard to put down Ava Galvan worked hard for her success in life. In one instant it all changed. Malcolm Makenzie can't forget the argument they had just before he sent Ava home in a taxi, only to receive a call form the hospital that she was clinging to life after an accident...and, she was also pregnant. Their son was born healthy, but her injuries left her in pain, unable to dance, and with a brain injury that affected her short-term memory. After spending time together to make it work, one mistake sends Ava back to New York to try and reclaim her life. Malcolm lets her think he has let her go, while arranging for her job, apartment, and driver to keep an eye on her. Now Jack wants his mother back, and Malcolm wants his wife back, despite her not remembering their wedding day. Ava is stronger, but still doesn't feel she should be in her son's life, not when she can't remember things that happened from one day to the next without her notebook. Malcolm convinces her to take a vacation with him, and sets out to prove she can be a wife and mother. Malcolm made mistakes with Ava, and Ava had so much to overcome, but when they took it one day at a time, they started to sort through the things that kept them apart, Ava started to believe in a future that includes her family. I loved the characters and how they were developed. My heart broke over and over for Ava and all she lost after her accident. The more time we spent with Malcolm, the more human he became and the more I understood him. This was a novella, and a quick read, easy to get into, and hard to put down until I was done. The story was well-written and I enjoyed it. **I received an Advanced Reader's Copy via NetGalley from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.***

"The Tycoon's Forced Bride" by Jane Porter is the story of Malcolm McKenzie and Ava Galvan. Ava is recovering from a life threatening wreck that happened three years ago. She has memory loss and struggles with walking and balance from this accident. The accident caused her to lose her job as an acclaimed ballerina and has also lost her independence. Malcolm has lots of guilt about the night of the accident. Ava was pregnant with his child which he has raised as a single father. Ava is improving, but Malcolm is ready to have his family together. He will do whatever he needs to do to get her back. This was a short read, but wow, it was not missing anything. I loved the things that Malcolm did in order to show Ava his love and to help her to remember the good times they have each day. This is an emotional, heartbreaking, and heartwarming romance. The author pulls the reader in where you feel the characters pain and happiness. The intimate scenes were intense and sensual. I really enjoyed Malcolm and Ava's story. I look forward reading other books by Jane Porter. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and Tule Publishing for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

Ava had been critically injured in an auto accident. She suffered a traumatic brain injury which left her with short term memory problems. She was devastated when she wandered away and left her infant son alone. She will never hurt him again even if it means she has to stay away. Malcolm had raged at her and told her she was a danger to their boy. She realized that he was right and she left. She had to keep Jack safe. This story broke my heart. Ava was an amazing character. She fought so hard to regain her life, but fear wouldn't let her be the mother she wanted to be. Malcolm was raising their child and she was alone. He was a rich and powerful man who could protect his boy. He wanted Ava to return and be a wife and mother. He loved her and wanted her with them, but could he convince her?. When these two are together, you could feel the chemistry and the passion. Ava forgot many things, but not her desire for Malcolm. I wanted them to be a family. Jane Porter tackles difficult subject and does it with a grace and charm that pulls the reader into the story. I always enjoy her books and The Tycoon's Forced Bride is no exception.

Ava was a ballerina, already successful and still rising. Ava had a lover named Colm. Then an unexpected pregnancy, a fight, and Ava was in a car accident. Colm married her and Jack was born. But Ava had severe injuries especially the one to her brain which gave her major memory problems. At one point Ava had left Jack as a toddler at a mall and then proceeded to get herself confused and lost. After that, Ava took herself out of Jack’s and Colm’s life. But Colm had been in the background all the time without Avas knowledge. Smoothing the way for Ava anyway he could. Now Colm wants Ava to come home. I loved this story and plot. The characters were just awesome. Especially Colm, who wouldn’t give up. Also all that Ava and Colm went through. I highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story for an honest review

When it comes to true love, one man won’t let anything get in his way. Malcolm McKenzie wanted the best for Ava Galvan. He set her up in an apartment and got her a job teaching ballet. He arranged for her to be watched and taken care of every minute of her day. Ava was Malcolm's wife and the mother of his son. Ava remembered their son Jack, but she didn't remember marrying Malcolm. Now Malcolm has set out to get Ava back and he will stop at nothing until she is his once again. Ava had once been Manhattan Ballet’s principal ballerina. She was loved and adored for her grace, talent, and beauty, until a terrible accident left her with severe pain and memory loss. She prefers to live each day with the routines and doesn't like any changes. When Malcolm decides he wants to take Ava to St Bart's for a weekend, she hesitates, but agrees in the end. Will Ava finally be able to remember why they were so good together and give in to Malcolm’s request of a second chance at a life together? Or will the change in her routine be too much for her to handle? I really liked Ava and my heart went out to her. She desperately wanted to remember the past and be a good wife and mother, but her fears held her back. The story had a lot of details that made it feel very real and it was full of passion and emotion. It is an all-around great romance story.

The Tycoon's Forced Bride by Jane Porter This book starts out with Ava and she's disabled but teaches the children dance and ballet. Malcolm and her have a child together but she lives in NY. He wants her to try again to come back and take care of their child. If she can teach the children ballet and dance she should be able to tend to her son. You learn of the struggles and the therapy she must endure to get through the days away from her son. She had lost her memory and we learn how that came about. Like how she's able to accomplish what she has. Story also follows Malcolm who she doesn't remember and he's always tended to her needs, without her knowing it. Her car waiting for her whenever and wherever she needed to go. He's talked her into going to St. Barts for a vacation but while they are leaving she realizes she can't go through with it. Love all the descriptions of the places they go and the swimming in the water. Very hot steamy sex scenes as they experience the islands and all it has to offer as they attempt to work things out... I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

The Tycoon's Forced Bride by Jane Porter is a good read. If you have read most of Jane Porter's books this one is a little different from her latest. This one is packed with emotions and hotness. Both is there a lot of. It's filled with strong emotions on both levels. To me, this one had a difficult beginning, and if it wasn't a favorite author of mine, I might have had a hard time with it. I actually read the first chapters two times to get it right. And after the first chapters the story took of, oh boy, it took of. It got hotter and better and made so much more sense. I crave happy endings and that's why I read romance. Another great story from Jane Porter.

A fantastic story that proves you never know where life will take you! Ava Galvan is a woman who has known great passion and great loss. Once a beautiful ballerina, now fighting her way back to a normal life after being involved in a horrific accident that left her with impaired memory. Malcolm McKenzie remembers the night he put Ava in that taxi after they had argued only to get a call a few hours later about the accident. Since that time he has grown and matured and now realizes just how much he loves her and wants to put his family back together. Putting Ava's fears to rest won't be easy though. I definitely recommend this one.
