This is a wonderful story of friends to lovers. Caroline Jessica "CJ" Murphy has been friends with Graham Campbell for years. After all he was her brother, Sean's best friend. After Sean passed away suddenly, Graham has always looked out for CJ and been a big brother to her. When CJ and Graham meet up for one of their usual Sunday brunch dates, they both have something they need to ask of the other. Graham would like CJ to speak at a board meeting to help save the lingerie company that him and Sean started. This was a perfect opportunity for CJ to ask Graham what she would like.....she would like him to help her lose her virginity and help her be more knowledgeable in that area. Graham is's Sean's little sister....this goes against everything. But CJ is so desperate she bribes Graham....she will help him if he spends the next week teaching her and helping her to lose her virginity and then she will speak at the board meeting. After much soul searching, Graham agrees. This story was so fun! I just adored Graham. To most people he was a playboy, but really deep down he is a great guy. I just loved his lessons with CJ. It was entertaining watching her open up and own her sensuality. Even though CJ always had a crush on Graham, it was fun watching their friendship change to something more with each lesson they went through. In the end they both got their happy ending that they didn't even know they were looking for!

4.5 Stars This has one of my favorite troupes brother's best friend. I found myself laughing a lot while reading this. The chemistry between Graham and CJ is explosive, but the connection they have brings so much more to this book. CJ's cat is hilarious and I just love him. One of my favorite things about this book. If you're looking for a feel good story with humor and heat I highly suggest grabbing this one.

When you have reached 25 and your still a virgin, who better to help you with your "V Card" than your brother's best friend. CJ has always had a thing for Graham. Since the death of her brother, Graham has taken on the role as her protector, her "Big Brother." So when CJ asks Graham for help in being sexier, more desirable, and help her lose her virginity, he's taken back a bit. His inner struggle that he is betraying his best friend lingers in the back of his mind. But when a friend convinces him that its better that he is the one to be her teacher than some sleaze bag, he quickly changes his mind. It was only suppose to be 7 days of sex lessons. No emotions, no pulling of the heart strings, no attachments. But when the one person who knows you the best is the least one you expect to capture your heart and soul, what do you do? Neither CJ nor Graham saw it coming. Are they willing to put themselves out there and expose their feelings for one another? Can the friendship they have survive if they try for more? When I heard that Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente were writing a book together I knew I needed to get my hands on it. WOW, just seriously WOW! The V Card had me laughing, smiling, hot and bothered in a good way. It was sweet, sexy, full of humor, passionate and soulfully rich. Well done ladies, well done!

Awesomeness at its best with these two! First off - Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente who can't possibly write a book I won't like individually, so put them together and holy squirrel brain!! It was so entertaining. It captures their wit, a strong female lead and a man who knows his way around a woman's body. CJ and Graham - what a great couple. "...and it's the best thing that has ever happened to my mouth, bar none. Forget gourmet cupcakes and that chocolate bar from Paris. They've got nothing on this man's drop-dead sexy lips." That's how I felt after reading this book! "I loved every second of being with you." and I loved every second of this book - even when my heart was in my throat! It's a bit of a twist on the brother's best friend and I don't think losing your V card could be more fun! I voluntarily requested and received an advance reader copy.

The V-Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a contemporary romantic comedy about a man who loves women's underwear (making them that is) and the woman who finally teaches this playboy how to fall in love. Graham Campbell is the CEO of Adored, a lingerie company, that he and his best-friend Sean started. However, with Sean passed and now after losing one account, the board members of Adored through him for a loop with talks of possibly selling out. So to alleviate any fears his board members may have, he needs his best-friend's sister on his side. CJ has been a constant in his life and At 25-years old, she's has her own successful business and can easily understand why Graham wants her help and she is more than happy to help… if he is willing to help her too. A flounder in the big sea of dating, CJ needs a skilled-teacher to help her lose her V-card and learn how to maneuver the minefield of dating. Who better to teach her than Graham? Seven nights to learn everything she can from the man she's had a crush on for ages without losing her heart even more…easy, right? The V-Card was addicting and absolutely enjoyable. The humor and writing-style from this writing duo is spot on and really brought these characters to life. I loved Graham! He's charming, witty, compassionate, and he really listens to everyone around him. He's passionate about his company and about CJ. He's also emotional, which I love that we get to see with chapters from his perspective. That is one of the things I really enjoyed about this book, getting both CJ and Graham's POV. We, as readers, get to see how each character feels or interprets what happens during a scene so it's easy to become invested in the character's outcome. Another thing I liked were the epilogues! So sweet and really made my day! I thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall, The V-Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a enjoyable romantic comedy with enough heat to keep you warm this winter. The nods to the holiday season (though the book starts off in spring) were cute too! I very much recommend and look forward to reading more by these two authors! (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

The V Card delivers a super sweet ending. Less sweet and a lot more racy, is the story’s sexy nature in which CJ recruits a friend to help get rid of her V-Card. But let’s start from the beginning. In this romantic comedy, sheltered yet smart and successful 25 year old business owner CJ has little to no experience in the bedroom department and she’s determined to remedy that ASAP by enlisting the help of her close friend Graham Campbell. Mr. Charming. A flirt, womanizer and her late brother’s best friend and business partner. As it turns out, Graham needs a favor to ask her. They both knew the objective and agree to the terms. A seven day, no complications project in which Graham teaches CJ everything he knows on pleasing a man and CJ speaks to his board of directors. What could possibly go wrong? CJ and Graham have no trouble with the lessons as they realize they have combustible chemistry. They also have a long friendship which could be put to risk with the emerging romantic feelings their sexy arrangement has produced and both are afraid to bring it up and lose everything. Misunderstandings though, can be much more dangerous, but love is worth the risk. Blakely and Valente make a fantastic romance writing duo, penning a sexy an entertaining friends to lovers story. It’s fast paced, funny and swoony with loveable characters. The V Card is standalone contemporary romance by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valentine. It’s a sweet, sexy and fun read romantic comedy lovers won’t want to miss. Written in first person from both points of view and has a happy ending.

Lauren Blakely and Lily Valente are a fabulous writing team and I hope they collaborate a lot more in the future because this book was an absolute joy to read. Graham and CJ are friends that have become even closer in the last few years since the sudden death of his partner, Sean, who was CJ's brother. So when CJ finally acts on her attraction to Graham for the sole purpose of losing her virginity this storyline adds a heart-pounding punch of lust that totally blew my mind. The growing emotional connection between Graham and CJ leads to sinfully sexy encounters that are explicit but never crude or vulgar because that kind of book totally turns me off. This is a 5-star romantic comedy that was enticingly delightful in every single way and I guarantee you're going to love it. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.

The V Card is Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente’s first story together. I didn’t know what to expect going in but I was extremely pleased with the outcome. These two ladies did a phenomenal job writing a charming and very addictive story. I couldn’t tell when Lauren or when Lili was writing the story, I’d love to know who wrote what since it’s definitely a story with perfectly smooth transitions from author to author. The V Card is exactly what you think it might be of my absolute favorite tropes!!! Graham Campbell runs a successful company on his own after his partner passes away. His partner has a beautiful sister named CJ. When CJ comes to help Graham with the company shareholders, she asks for a favor of her own. She wants to get rid of the wretched virginity she’s been stuck with for so long and needs someone to help with that. Will Graham rise to the occasion to help out a girl in need? Find out all about it in The V Card when it releases. This is one funny, sexy and charming read. I bow down to Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente, these two are a powerful duo!!! I hope to see more from these two ladies in the very near future. 5 wickedly fun stars!!!!

Having read other books by Lauren Blakely before, I can say that I’m familiar with her writing style and stories, but this collaboration took the story to a new whole new level. From the sexy cover to the interesting synopsis, the authors managed to delivered a great romantic comedy that will definitely leave you wanting for more. In the story we get to meet twenty-five year old, CJ Murphy whose jewelry business has kept her busy making her successful at job, but not in other areas especially in one that she hope will end soon. Growing up with an older brother didn’t make her relationship with guys any better, and that left her with no time to lose her virginity. But now she is tired of waiting for the right guy to come to her rescue and that’s how she enlists the help of her brother’s best friend, Graham Campbell to teach her to to seduce a man and help her lose her v-card once and for all. It’s when they start to spend more time together that feelings begin to change and they both equally want more yet they’re not able to admit it to each other. Graham Campbell is wealthy and charming. He can get just about any woman he wants, but he has never thought about getting into a serious relationship. It took years for him and his best friend Sean to start their lingerie business and now he has worked really hard to make it successful. But after Sean passed away it has taken a toll on the company and Graham might just be losing investors. He realizes that he need Sean’s sister, CJ to appease everyone in order for him to remain as CEO of the company. So that’s what he ultimately wants for her to do in return for what she wants. Soon their friendship takes a different turn and they’ll have to decide if admitting their feelings towards each other is worth it or not. Though the friends-to-lovers story is not new, the characters in this story were refreshing with a bit of a twist. The story is sweet and funny as well as the characters themselves. Graham is kind, good looking and a womanizer. He has a lot of experience in that department and CJ knows that from the very beginning. She trusts him completely as someone would a friend, but their relationship evolves throughout the book. Their dynamic is very interesting, they both complement each other very well and that just makes the story that much more enjoyable to read. The authors have done an amazing job bringing two characters whose friendship bond turns into so much more, and it’s completely swoon worthy. I would highly recommend reading this book, you will not want to miss the ending! :) ***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.***

I love Lauren Blakely’s writing and devour her books, but Lili Valente is new to me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this co-authored book, well, let’s just say, I’m going to be looking out for more books by Lili. I loved this book. It was fun and sexy. It’s a quick read but complete, it wasn’t drawn out and it felt like the story had everything it needed, I didn’t ever feel like I was missing anything. I hope Lauren and Lili decide to team up again because the finished product is addictive and enjoyable. With plenty laugh out loud moments. I loved the Die Hard references, I was chuckling away, because, let’s face it, we’ve all quoted John McClane, right? The cover is great, sexy but not overly so, the inclusion of the narrator badge is perfect. I’d love to have Luna and Valerie’s story. Graham and CJ are fantastic, I loved them together so much, who doesn’t love friends to lovers, right? Graham is your typical sexy alpha guy, who has a dose of cockiness, and sweetness about him. I loved that he didn’t just dive in with CJ’s request, he thought about it and even sought help from a friend but in the end, he cared enough to help her. CJ is one awesome chick, she’s strong and feisty and knows what she wants. She hasn’t had the easiest time, and I loved that she didn’t come across as something being wrong with her because of her age, It was just something that hadn’t happened for her yet, some of us have been there, and it was a nice change of pace to other virgin stories. The fact that they had a shared loss, and kept thinking about that for different reasons made them seem even more suited and added an emotional layer to their characters and relationship. The banter they shared was perfection, I’m a sucker for good banter, and they had it in spades. The progression of their relationship was fast, I mean, it had to be, just look at the premise of the book. It’s a one-week deal, so they had to fall in love within that time, with that being said, it worked. It didn’t feel rushed, the way they started to develop feelings felt organic to them, and the experiences they were having. Let’s not forget the super-hot sex, the sex scenes in this book are going to melt your device, and they work so perfectly with the story. Anyone else wish they had a Graham when it came time to lose that V card? No, just me? Crap! Erm, let’s move on. I adored their friendship, and that it played a pivotal role in their story, they were still friends throughout and worried about that aspect of the relationship. Was I annoyed at their lack of communication towards the end? Heck yes! I was shouting at my phone as I read and later listened to them make assumptions, rather than just telling the other how they felt, for the record that part didn’t change in the audiobook. (Don’t tell Graham but I’m inserting an eye-roll emoticon here). Thankfully my shouting didn’t last too long and their happily ever after started just as it should. The inclusion of the two epilogues worked really well, and I loved both of them, but that’s all I’m going to say because I want you to experience them for yourself.

What a fun and sexy story! I wouldn’t expect anything else from my two favorite ROMCOM authors though! They are always so entertaining separately, and now together, what a huge delight!! CJ has known Graham for years. He is after all her brother’s best friend and business partner. Which yup you guessed it, means he is basically off limits. CJ is 25 years old and runs her own business and has a great life except for one thing; she is so tired of being a virgin, but she does not want to lose her “ V card” to just anyone. She also wants to develop some skills in that area. So when Graham asks her for help with something pertaining to his business, CJ decides to ask the sexy, smart and very experienced Graham to teach her the ropes in the bedroom as payment for helping him. Now that her brother has passed on she doesn’t feel so inclined to heed the off limits sign and Graham finds her impossible to resist. Can these two people who are clearly attracted to each other keep to a clinical student/teacher relationship? Hell no they can’t!! They are so sweet together and super hot and steamy! I adored both CJ and Graham and found myself smiling, laughing, fanning myself and feeling many pulls at my heartstrings from the romantic side of Graham. These are all things I love to feel when reading a sexy romantic comedy!!And that second epilogue was simply fantastic and the perfect end to this book!! Great job ladies! I hope this is the first of many collaborations for you!!

The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a standalone romance told in dual POV that will poke your feelings, have you laughing out loud and perhaps leave you blushing a little too. Graham and CJ are close friends. Graham is the best friend of CJ's older brother. When her brother passed away, their friendship with each other grew and solidified. When CJ has a proposal of the indecent kind for Graham both their worlds are getting turned on their axis. Well-written and well-paced, the characters are perfectly flawed when apart and wondrously whole when together. The story is well-balanced with minimal drama but just the right amount of angst. Love this duo writing team and their debut story together, which is good for me as I am a fan of both of them separately too! Enjoy!

Graham Campbell is the kind of man women clamor over, he's handsome, rich, successful, and his profession just so happens to cater to the needs and comfort of women... which is exactly why he would be the perfect candidate to help CJ out. She wants to say goodbye to her virginal ways and become a more desirable and experienced woman, but she doesn't want just anyone to help teach her the way. She has heard stories about Graham's bedroom expertise, heard that he has many satisfied customers, and she wants to sample the goods too... but can she convince Graham to go against everything he believes to make it happen? Graham Campbell's company is faltering a little and he needs his friend CJ's help to keep in afloat, and he also needs to eliminate all distractions from his life, namely women, as much as it pains him! But when he meets with CJ to try and lure her into helping with his new plan, she surprises him with a plan of her won... one that has him questioning his morals, the terms of their friendship, and his promise to her brother. Can he go against an unwritten rule between friends to make another happy? The "V" Card is a sinfully delightful little tale that is sure to leave readers weak in the knees, and their emotions churning... WOW what a read!! From the moment I started this one I knew I had found something really special, it had this air of mystery to it that kept flipping the pages and constantly wondering will they, or won't they, and an emotional punch that hit the mark. Between the pages of this one you will find two friends with plans designed to get what they want, but in order to pull them off they need to rely on one another to make it happen, and will also have to cross some lines that are sure to make the defined lines of their friendship a little blurry... and things around them to become oh so steamy! This was an impressive offering from two very talented ladies, one that I am familiar with and one that is now on my radar, their beautifully executed tale gave me the feels, made me blush, and kept me captivated from start to finish! Highly recommend!!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Ok, so seriously, what do you do when you hear two of your favorite authors are writing a book together. Together! You scream. You message them. You text your friends. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are two of the most talented writers I've ever read. Add in what incredible women they are and it's a recipe for success. The V Card is the perfect mix of their rom/com laughs, blushing sexiness and loveable characters. It's a friends to lovers romance with a unique twist. CJ is almost twenty-six and she is in desperate need of losing her virginity and learn how to seduce a man. Her brother's best friend is the perfect candidate. She's comfortable with him, he's sexy, and he's a player. So, who better to teach her how to ways of seduction than the sexiest man in Manhattan. Graham is CEO of his own company and he needs help from CJ. When he approaches her he finds out that she wants something in return. Can he be CJ's sexspert? When their lessons are over can they remain friends? I loved this story. It's fun, sexy as sin, silly and full of heart. CJ and Graham learn things about themselves while learning what drives the other crazy. I loved watching their love story unfold, with is fun antics, witty banter and entertaining secondary characters. Overall, I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and laughed more. I sighed and swooned at the end! I can't wait to see what else Lauren and Lili will come up with! "I just want to be able to drive a man crazy. To please and satisfy him in every way." My d insists he and I could teach her how a real man treats a woman. But my d isn't the best barometer. D are notoriously untrustworthy. I really did pick the best teacher in the enter history of the world.

Talk about the very best in feelgood kind of books. The V card is that and so much more. I swear I couldn't tell where Lauren Blakely started and Lili Valente ended. Their writing flowed effortlessly from start to finish and I was left an extremely satisfied puddle of happiness, much like how Graham left CJ over and over again. This friends to lovers story is downright charming. Graham and CJ are a couple that shouldn't have happened. But how does a red-blooded man who would do anything for his late friend's younger sister, deny her the chance to feel like the sexy and beautiful woman she most certainly is? The answer is: you don't. What you do instead is become the teacher of her dreams, and in the short 7 day sexcation you have with each other, become so much more. There is the tender passion that Lauren Blakely is known for together with the clever banter that make her couplings so memorable. Not to mention some public naughtiness that is always welcomed and so very enjoyable for both participants and the readers! I am forever in awe that her characters have deep respect for one another and any love that is shared is both powerful and honest. Graham and CJ have insane chemistry but it is carefully and beautifully paired with a deep affection that has been honed through all their years of true friendship. In short, it is romance at its swoony best. Add in a sweet albeit a bit confused cat named Stephen King and you truly have the perfect book for a chilly night. Blakely and Valente prove that they make a great team and I'm hopeful they give us another wonderful adventure at some point in the future. With The V Card, this writing duo takes a premise we've all heard before and makes it uniquely their own. With unforgettable characters in Graham and CJ, it is virtually impossible not to fall in love with them and their burgeoning and most unexpected romance. A huge 5 stars!

Wow, what a team! I am a fan of both Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente's work. Their writing styles compliment each other and they have created pure poetry! CJ has always had a crush on her brother's best friend, Graham. They have forged their own friendship through the years, being there for each other in good times and bad. Graham and CJ are both young, successful business owners. They work hard and respect each other. Now when Graham needs her help, CJ works up the courage to ask for her own favor, that Graham never saw coming. I loved this fun & flirty, hot and steamy, friends-to-lovers romance! It has everything I crave to read, including the signature witty banter both authors are wonderful at creating, a moving story, and lots a smoking hot passion. You will laugh, swoon, and cheer for CJ and Graham to have their HEA. I absolutely loved this charming, heartwarming, sexy story and am not above begging for more from this duo!

**Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review** What do you get when you put two of the most talented romance writers out there together to write a book? An instant winner! That is exactly what The V Card is. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are great in their own right and together, this is a wonderful, witty and romantic collaboration! CJ Murphy seemingly has it all. She runs a business, she's got great friends and a great apartment, but at nearly 26, the one thing she still has that she wishes she didn't is her virginity. She's dead set on finally losing her V Card and she knows just who she wants to take care of it - her brother's best friend and business partner, Graham Campbell. Graham Campbell has just had a huge curveball thrown at him. The board of directors of his company isn't sure he should stay in the CEO roll now that his business partner, Sean, has passed away. Knowing that reaching out to CJ, Sean's sister, could help his cause due to her large stake in the company, he does so, but what he doesn't realize is she has a proposal of her own for him. She wants him to serve as her sexpert. Once Graham agrees to help CJ out, they start their lessons and sparks fly immediately. Can the two of them really go through this series of "lessons" without feelings getting involved? Or will this end up tearing their friendship apart? I was immediately immersed in this story. It was witty, sexy, silly, fun and definitely full of heart. I always enjoy the writing of both Blakely and Valente, but putting their talents together was definitely a recipe for success! I would love to see another collaboration from these two talented ladies in the future!

The V Card is a bit of a new direction for Lauren Blakely. The beauty of her characters is that they take pride in being bold. Her stories hold nothing back and that makes for humorously entertaining temptation. This time around there are elements of a vulnerability that is refreshing. At the core of the relationship between CJ and Graham is a friendship that has withstood teenage crushes, heartbreaking tragedy and growing into adulthood. The bond they share is much stronger than lust and is an ever evolving story that morphs into love. The boldness and humor are still there, just softened by the breathtaking emotions that drive this relationship from friendship to romance. Blakely and Valente work well together.
