A vampire named Arel is hell-bent or more precisely, heaven-bent, on freeing his soul! His plan is simple. He believes that he can reverse his cursed condition by ingesting a little angel blood. Michael, an incarnate angel and Arel's friend, advises that the remedy could be hazardous, but Arel is determined to take his chances. He won't entertain the thought of what terrible consequences could be in store for him. After the deed is done, Arel and Michael join forces to control what's been unleashed in Arel, but the blood coursing through Arel's veins is always a step ahead of both vampire and angel. Michael's Blood is the first book in the series, The Vampire Reclamation Project.

Uniquely Compelling Tale of a Vampire Seeking Redemption, June 30, 2013 By Ronald C. Tobin "Author of A RUBY FOR VICTOR" (Phoenix, AZ USA) - It is not often that one can say a book that involves a vampire is truly unique. However, I will go out on a limb here and say THE VAMPIRE RECLAMATION PROJECT is deserving of this accolade. Arel is a vampire seeking redemption. Michael the angel, with great trepidation, lets Arel drink some of his blood. With that the fascinating tale unfolds. Arel goes through a grueling transformation full of highs and lows. He becomes involved intimately in the lives of four other people. This results in him, and they, finding out about their past life connections, which adds incredible depth to the narrative. The ending was quite satisfying and set the stage well for the second book. I truly enjoyed the interplay between the angels and Arel and how they affected the lives of those whom they were guardians of. A scene when Arel makes an out of body visit to one of them and ends up facing her guardian angel was most compelling. This novel made me think a lot as well as entertained me. The humor and wit was evident and most gratifying. I will certainly purchase the second book in this series when it comes out. So, if you are looking for a truly unique vampire novel, get this one!
