The Vampires of Green Lake by C. Dennis Moore

The werewolves were dead and David Reed just wanted life for his family to return to normal. But a mysterious wooden box found in the woods suggests that word has a whole new meaning, one he's not prepared for. As he tries to uncover the secrets of the box, a new threat emerges from the night, and it's targeting those closest to him. David has to unlock the mystery of the box in order to uncover the face in the darkness and the source of those horrible sounds coming from down the hall. What will he do when the vampires come calling on Green Lake?

The Vampires of Green Lake (The Monsters of Green Lake Book 2) C. Dennis Moore *Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the author. The following review is my own, with no promises or compensation from the author*. As the blurb indicates, The Vampires of Green Lake definitely picks right up where The Werewolves of Green Lake left off. With poor David trying to find his balance and move forward after his harrowing experiences. His wife has no clue as to what really happened, and he and his daughter have to come to grips with the attack on the family with-out giving anything away to her. Then, of course, strange things begin happening again. Towns people are mysteriously murdered. If werewolves are real, what about vampires? The writing is superb. Mr. Moore keeps you involved and entertained. That ending was fantastic. I cannot wait to visit Green Lake again in the next book.
