Wonderfully diverse voices, with diverse perspectives - food for thought, pleasure and vicarious travel experience. A touching and thought-provoking portrayal of the future (The Starter Kit), a fun SF romp with a former policeman (Pidgeon Drop) and though I'm usually not a horror story fan, but even The End of The Road captured me in this volume!

This is not a review! But it is a sort of teaser hoping that some of you will take a chance with new writers and read our anthology. The Walnut Creek Writers Guild undertook a project which was to write stories around a collective theme. The theme IS the title, so you will find eight stories, and a prologue all having to do with unique points of view from different places and perspectives. You will travel with a young boy on a train, visit a belly button, be a tourist in Prague and discover something magical in music, handle scam artists with a retired police officer, as well as finding romance, learning how to drive in England and hopefully have a good time. If you DO take a chance on our book, write a review and let us know what you think. We hope you enjoy the trip.

I love short stories and found these appealing and full of content.

The writers may be new to publishing but some of them are talented and should be encouraged. Although generally entertaining, the stories are of uneven quality - Pigeon Drop and the Starter Kit are the ones that stand out. I look forward to more from these two authors.

A Great Read! I enjoyed immensely this intriguing collection of short stories written by eight of the East Bay's most talented emerging authors.  Centered around the theme of "possibilities" the nine stories present the reader with an opportunity to experience a rich variety of writing styles.  The book has made of me a fan and proud supporter of the guild's work.  I look forward to their next collection.

With its intriguing cover and story titles, this collection takes you on the maiden voyage of the Walnut Creek Writers Guild. It's a fascinating journey replete with complicated characters and rich story lines. All in all, this volume is well-worth the investment. Well done, Writers Guild!

What a wonderful collection, what a great find!!! I know you can't judge a book by it's cover....but the red curtain  pulled me in...and what's inside is great. Nine new authors give us nine original, imaginative, and different Stories. Each one a gem.  This book has something for every reader.,,and a glimpse of  what's in store for us! Keep writing!  BRAVO WALNUT CREEK WRITER'S GUILD. I will keep an eye out for your future publications.
