Welcome to River Hill, where the only thing more intoxicating than the wine is the man who makes it.
With movie roles for "curvy best friend" drying up fast, actress Angelica Travis is happy to be leaving Hollywood behind for a project she's truly passionate about: renovating an historic bed and breakfast in peaceful wine country. She's got plans and power tools ready, but an inconvenient attraction to her obnoxious new neighbor is NOT on the agenda.
Winemaker Noah Bradstone wants nothing more than to cultivate his grapes and win awards for his wine. But when construction on the B&B next door threatens his vines, Noah goes on a rampage - and comes up hard against the sexiest starlet he's ever seen. Exactly the sort of woman he's vowed never to get involved with again.
Angelica and Noah might be able to resolve their differences over a glass of some very fine wine, but when her opportunity at breakout stardom comes calling, all bets are off.

I adored this book. The authors did a wonderful job of combining a lot of the things I look for in a great story - it’s Funny, Romantic, Fast Paced and has Terrific Characters. Top that off with it’s the start of a series and this reader is in heaven. You know how they say opposites attract, well sometimes they do and sometime they just annoy each other. Which is exactly what Angelica and Noah do. She can’t see past his moodiness and he thinks she’s a pesky neighbor that has no clue what she’s doing in wine country or as he puts it, His Town (especially when her remodeling crew threatens all he hold dear). But when these two get near each other things never seem to go as planned and being attracted to each other is out of the question. Isn’t it? The authors have written a great story line that will have you laughing at the antics between Noah and Angelica one minute (not to mention the actions of their “butinsky” friends) and then wishing like heck you were them the next minute. 2 Thumbs up for a great read and I am anxiously awaiting book 2 in the River Hill Series, The Distiller’s Darling.
Well don't you just want to bash Angelicas and Noah's heads together. Thankfully they eventually they got their heads out of their bottoms and sorted them selves out. A sweet love story with the required HEA!
I really loved this book from the start! The writing is great, the characters are mature and have a chemistry that is undeniable. Angelica and Noah are neighbors that start with the wrong foot and some headache. However, they are so funny and sexy that their encounters are each time more engaging. They have their faults and traumas like every human being but the good thing about this book is that they are adults and solve their problems in the real world. I look forward to the others books in this series and truly recommend it.
4 - "I'm tired of fighting with you..." Stars! You know you are onto a winner with a new author, when you pretty much devour the first book you read by them in one sitting. And The Vintners Vixen was very much that sort of book for me. Angelica and Noah’s story, ticked all of my contemporary romance boxes really well. With a great opening introduction between the pair of them, what started initially as a frenemies with chemistry situation, developed into more I-can't-keep-my-hands-off-you-attraction, as they got to know each other better. I love a romance where the drama is light, the angst well delivered and everything plays out without too much muss and fuss. Both the H/h are dealing with a few trust and commitment issues, and it was great to read them navigate the waters of a relationship like adults, the communication between them at the right points kept everything moving along nicely, and prevented the drama overtaking the enjoyment of my reading experience. "You certainly know how to keep a girl on her toes…" This was a quick read, as I said I pretty much devoured it in one sitting. It was light, funny, and hugely entertaining. I loved the banter between Noah and his guy friends as well, and I am looking forward to reading more from this writing duo in the future. The Distillers Darling is due later on in 2018, and it will be a welcome return to the River Hill series for this reader.
River Hill is a small town full of big personalities. It's the place where second chances are just around the corner and a heart's desire can hide in plain sight. Norinne and Brinkley created a setting that is reminiscent of a not so distant past, but with a hint of present day charm. Angelica is a woman with a zest for life. The world is her smorgasbord and she's determined to taste it all. Noah is just the man to bring this vixen down to size. He's a planner by nature and a winemaker by trade. No upstart is going to change him or his town. As they say, life has a way of shaking up the world. The Vintner's Vixen is a flavorful beginning to what looks to be a beautiful friendship between this reader and a nostagically heartwarming series.
