About the Author

Vivian Winslow was born and raised in Southern California. Before becoming a writer, she made a career out of moving around the world every couple of years thanks to her husband’s job and her incurable wanderlust. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and two elementary school age children, and is grateful to finally have a place to call home for more than two years.
New York is the perfect city to indulge her love of fashion, the arts and especially food. If she’s not at home writing or running around the city with her kids, you’ll most likely find her eating at the newest restaurant in her beloved Lower East Side or having a cocktail at her favorite bar in Alphabet City. That said, she’s still a California girl at heart and would gladly trade in her heels for a pair of flip-flops to catch a sunset on the beach.

The Violet Trilogy (Gilded Flower #7-9) by Vivian Winslow was a wild ride that had just enough from each trilogy to make you see that a bigger picture was already in the works. First off, if you haven't read the other 6 books, or two trilogies then I highly suggest you do. Especially this last one, as it interconnects with the other six books in ways won't even imagine. It was pretty amazing to see, and frankly I think that was the best out of all the trilogies. That being said, spoilers will be expected, if you haven't read the others books. Vi is really something as a character and it really show in this set. Yes she is present in the other books, but just as the support. These books kind of backtrack and show you that no she was way more the simple support. She was like he freaking glue that held her friends together. You don't realise how much of a part she really plays until you read this set. Outside of that, you see her own struggles first hand, her battling what her father wants, and what she wants. You also see the difference in culture as well. I have to say, Vivian Winslow showed her talen in this set, and it was a good way to end this emotional rollercoaster of ride, that this 9 book series had to offer. I highly recommend you get your hands on not only this mind blowing set, but the other two as well. Each of the books are fairly shot reads, I mean this trilogy is only 555 pages, so that alone tells you how long the actual books are. So now worried about feeling overwhelmed. So please take my stamp of approval that you will fall into this world of love, lust, mind games and of course drama. Happy Reading -E.A. Walsh

The Violet Trilogy- Vivian Winslow 5-stars The Violet Trilogy by Vivian Winslow is another must read romance by this author. This Trilogy consists of Wild Violet, Hidden Violet and True Violet, books 7-9 in the Gilded Flower series. While this trilogy can be read as a standalone I would strongly suggest reading the full series in order to get the whole picture, along with character introductions. Just like all of this author’s work this trilogy is sweet, romantic, steamy, dramatic, heart-wrenching, suspenseful and tear-jerking. Everything you would want a romance book to be. I have loved being able to read this whole series, I have felt so invested from the beginning as each new book managed to completely captivate me. Vivian has created such dynamic and realistic characters that I feel like I actually know them. This series is one of my all-time favorites and one that I will forever recommend to anyone looking for their next romance read!

4 stars Let me start by saying that I have enjoyed this series from the very first book.  The secrets, friendships, drama and love that continued to unfold throughout the series with these last few books, we finally get to see secrets revealed and truths that we had no idea about.  But in the end friendship and love is the key to happiness. As Vi comes to learn that actions have consequences, what will she do to protect her friends and family?  She must step up to the plate and handle things behind the scenes.  And if that means leaving a broken heart or two in her wake then she will do it.   When Vi is given the opportunity to set the past right, she will jump at the chance to finally let it all go.  She is a smart business woman who is willing to show the world that she means business.  As she is becoming more into her father’s favor, she will make an enemy or two along the way.  Vi has no worries that she can handle them too. But what Vi was not prepared for losing her heart to a man that she meet years ago only to run into again.  The feelings and emotions that he brings out in her will become her undoing but in the end will it be all worth it?  Can love be everything Vi wanted?  Can she have her professional career as a major business woman and a man to love her too?

Vivian Winslow's "Wild Violet" is the first story in the Violet Trilogy and the seventh tale in the Gilded Flower universe. Violet, Dahlia's BFF, is an interesting character. This one branched out a little sexually and included a M/F/F three-way! Nom nom nom nom! The nookie is exceptional in this one, you don't want to miss it. It's a quick read and I can't wait to devour the next one, "Hidden Violet," which is coming soon. Vivian Winslow's "Hidden Violet" is the second story in the Violet Trilogy and the eighth tale in the Gilded Flower universe. We get to know some of the men in Violet's life. Again, there are a whole cast of characters and you never know who she'll end up with eventually. I know who I'm rooting for. This one had a little more back story and a little less nookie than the other ones, but the nookie that was there was hawt, as always. The end will make you wish the next story was already available - I know I do! Hurry up and end my torture, Ms. Winslow!  Vivian Winslow's "True Violet" is the last book in her Vi Trilogy and the ninth tale in The Gilded Flower series. It's a sexy read, as always. Violet has had her choice in men all her life and now, she just needs to decide which one will be the forever one. I like the ending to Violet's story - she picks the right guy, IMHO. Lots of delicious sex scenes. I wonder what Vivian Winslow will write next? Whatever it is, I'm in!
