Reviewed by Bil Howard for Readers' Favorite Beginning with two profound principles: you see vision by observing the followers, not the leaders; and a leader with vision is always trying to improve things, the Vision Guided Life: God’s Strategy for Fulfilling Your Destiny provides an excellent guide for fulfilling one’s destiny as a leader. Authors Kay and Olu Taiwo first define those things which vision is NOT in order to eliminate the misconceptions that one might have about the topic. By doing this, they are able to help the reader get a clearer picture before launching into the true definition and a course of action which helps us to not only discover our own vision, but to apply it to our lives and the lives of those around us. However, Kay and Olu do not stop at merely defining vision, but take it a step further into making application to our lives. There are fitting anecdotes throughout the book to help the reader understand the principles and concepts on a deeper level. They have also included case studies and a 28-day group exercise in order to help readers focus on their vision and discover how it unlocks the secrets to God’s destiny for their lives. Kay and Olu Taiwo's book has the potential of having a great impact upon the lives of not only readers, but on those who depend upon those leaders. The biblical references cut straight to the point and give credence to the message. The case studies, anecdotes, and guides bring it all together into a book for practicing one’s vision, rather than merely discussing it. Visionary, inspiring and easy to apply to one’s walk as a Christian and a leader.
