This concise consideration of Wright's life and work not only offers new insights into the character of this complex, powerful and at all times confident personality, but also the architectural legacy he left behind and which exists to this day in the vast number of homes and public buildings photographed mainly by the author himself.

I have a modest collection of architectural books, and this is one of the nicest monographs on Wright that I've seen - it's very complete, the photographs are in color and all well composed, and the accoompaning text is thorough and well written, including the introductory biographical material. Great addition to any collection as well as a lovely 'coffee table' book.
This book has a lot of Wright's earlier buildings from when he was starting out. Has wonderful pictures and descriptions. A indepth biography is also included in the book.
