Life Among Them is issues 67-72 of the popular The Walking Dead comics! After Rick and crew discover that a man named Aaron has been following them but only for to lead them to a new compound called Alexandria. Once there, they are a little skeptical of everything especially with what just went down with the Governor and Woodbury. As they get job assignments, Rick comes up with a plan to help his group out in a big way without nobody else knowing about it. I found this volume to be kinda low key with them finding Alexandria and everything that comes with it but you know that something big is about to happen especially with Rick and Glen doing something that will hopefully save them. As I read this book, I found many similar situations as the show but on a whole new level. I do have to admit, I already know what happens in the next issue but for what's it's worth, it was a great build up to what is to come for everyone in Alexandria. Thank You to Robert Kirkman for keeping the show as nearly the same as the comics to make everything seem more real!! I borrowed this book from my local Public Library.

If you love the television show, "The walking dead", then you'll love the comic book. Comic books take the reader in to the mind of the character, and these comic books take the reader further in to the daily lives and social interaction of each character. I've only met one person who hates these comics, but reading is not his forte anyway. Whether you're a comic book virgin or if you're too embarrassed to read a comic book out in public, you will love this book.

For anyone who likes a story about zombies, these books are the way to go; the graphic novel/comic book style of the story arc has amazing art and good story writing; the characters seem like real people (sometimes making questionable decisions) desiring love and safety, and like everyone, when they achieve those things they let their guard down. Once I started on book one, I couldn't put it down, suddenly I had bouth all 12, and then I had completed the first 12 within about two weeks.
