Praise for The War on Success

“This powerful, fast-moving book will inform and infuriate you, opening your eyes to the danger of unrestrained government growth.”
—Brian Tracy, author of The 100 Absolutely Unbreakable Laws of Business Success

“Today, people are starved for a positive perspective about success and the American Dream. The War on Success is not only that message, it is the truth. If you are not inspired to action by Tommy’s words, you have already surrendered to the enemies of success. I have not surrendered.”

This is a very compelling read. Well written. Well documented. Regardless of your policital persuasion, it will infuriate you and possibly change your mind. Newberry documents the socialization of America and what it means to personal responsibility and success. No doubt it will make a lot of left thinking people upset unless they have an open mind. Newberry identifies the problem and then creates a plan of action to take back America and return to the core values and beliefs of the founders of America.

Newberry's arguments are flashy, but they lack the depth of other more thoughtful conservative authors. Further, he consistently pits his arguments solely against the most extreme and poorly thought-out liberal arguments. If you're entertained by the extreme and showy antics and rant of AM talk radio on the right (or the left), then you may enjoy Newberry's work. If you're looking for a thoughtful conservative argument addressing the current times, I think you'll find this work disappointing.
