Meet the Author

Who is Calle Jaye Brookes? Calle Jay is fun, playful, ironic, professional and sophisticated. She’s super-educated in the field of fiction and would spend most of her time walking around in “Book World” (or”eBook World”). Does she have slight control freak tendencies? Yep. Why else would she chose to self-publish? In her day job she gets to read romance novels. In her night job she gets to write them! Her favorite color is bold purple. She likes rock like Kid Rock, Shinedown, and Nickelback. Add in a bit of Anastacia and Adelle, too. She collects rocks. Watches crime dramas. Abhors Lifetime Movies and Titanic (especially Leo…) and refuses to read or write about sparkly teen vampires. She’s married to a cop she strongly suspects is a vampire. They’ve made vampire babies, too. They live in Indiana with their vampire relatives and their vampire dogs.

I think that this story was only okay because it wasn't completely realistic!if you were assaulted u wouldn't forgive or be with someone that hurt u! At least not as fast as she did! But it was still a good read!

This book is filled with incomplete sentences, fragments and sentences missing words. I gave up reading at page 40. This book has possibilities, but needs complete revision.

This was a very enjoyable read. It does need a lot of grammatical editing. Lack of punctuation often led to my having to puzzle out what the writer meant. If this were a complete story, I would give it 4 stars, despite the editing needs. But it being only an"part 1," which was not indicated in the jacket notes, caused my 3 star rating. I appreciate the free book but not the concept that wanting to read the rest of the story meant purchasing the next book. Give me the choice up front!

I really enjoyed this fourth book in the Dardanos series. Aodhan is uber alpha. No shut off for this guy. He also is super protective and patient with his mate to be. He falls hard and deep for Mallory and will do anything to win her over. Mallory is strong willed but a bit brittle. She has suffered in the past and it has caused to her to build walls around herself. I had a hard time with all of her vacillating. One moment she seemed to be willing to let go and give a relationship with Aodhan a try and the next second she's fighting against him again. After all the back and forth I expected a bigger, more defined moment when she finally accepts Aodhan. Still, overall, the book was good. All read
