"This is the first Cathy Bryant book I've read, and I was caught up in it from start to finish. With vivid and interesting characters, some strange twists and turns, and blessings behind difficulties, The Way of Grace was a great read. I was caught up with Gracie and her story, and the end of the book came too soon for me."

"It had me hanging on afraid of the outcome to the mess. There were times, I could not put the book down as it had me hanging onto my seat."

"A mark of great Christian fiction is to not just tell a story, but to get across some truth or encouragement, and this book did just that in a great way. Grace is in the title of the book and is a major theme of the book. Woven throughout the book amid dialogue and interactions, the message of grace came through loud and clear, and in a non-preachy way."

"This may be the best book of this series so far - I absolutely could not put it down!"

"Thank you Cathy for allowing God to use you this way by writing this book. You have helped me see a little more clearly and prayerfully, I will choose to live my life full of grace and mercy and extend that to others."

"What a wonderful story with a strong Christian love story that shows the way God can use unusual life experiences to honor Himself . I also found the idea of Grace and justice something to consider in a new way."

"This story is heartrendingly amazing. I laughed and cried throughout the whole story."

This is a beautiful story of a young attorney as she walks toward her best life, the one God planned for her. Her story is one that's familiar to many of us who have struggled on our walk of faith. Should she be a defense attorney or a prosecutor? Should she get her own place or stay with her widowed father? And what about the men in her life? Should she choose the dashing attorney with the expensive clothes, car, and palatial home? Or the down to earth

If yiou are going to use Spanish (or any other foreign language) please do your research and/or have a native speaker check it first. This goes for writers and editors. Spanish speakers might call their daughter "hija" ('daughter') or even "mija" (short for 'my daughter') but never "la hija" (the daughter).

Book 3 of the Millers Creek Series has suspense that kept me reading way too late but I couldn’t put it down. I love this series and the characters Bryant has created. You will want to start with book 1 Texas Roads. Even though they are stand alone books it helps to read them in order and see the characters grow and relate to their community.

The Way of Grace, #3 A Miller’s Creek Novel***** by Cathy Bryant Law school graduate, Graciela—Grace Soldano, is back home in Miller’s Creek and is working for the law firm, Tyler, Dent and Snodgrass as an attorney. As she works alongside her boss and fellow attorneys, she stumbles upon something that has her puzzled and concerned. She decides to take matters into her own hands and search for the truth. But that search brings about unforeseen dangers—even life threatening—and serious consequences. Then there is Matt Tyler—he isn't like the well groomed professionals Grace works for, however he is handsome. Matt longs to spend his life with Grace but she has other ideas as to who her “perfect mate” should be and he doesn't fit that idea. How does he get her to see beyond his attire and to who he really is? When Grace is in danger he is determined to keep her safe, but will he be able to when she is in the most danger? Grace's story is one that gripped me and held on to the end. Some of what she went through were consequences from choices she had made to do the right thing. Evil lurks and tension builds as the danger becomes very real. I went back and forth as to who I thought the evil villain was and was kept on the edge of my seat as I read. I wanted Grace to see that Matt really loved her and to give him a chance. I like how Matt and Grace's faith was very much a part of their lives. Grace finally realized what true grace is—grace only God gives, which changed everything for her. Tragedy strikes and Grace faces a very different life than she had planned for. Matt stays at her side, showing her with unconditional love. Broken lives are changed, forgiveness, suspense, sacrifice, danger, tragedy, faith and love intertwined with the message of God's Grace making this a gripping, heartwarming story. ~I received an e-book copy of this book from the author for my review, this is my honest review~

In the third addition to the Miller’s Creek trilogy, the story focuses on Grace, the young Hispanic daughter of the restaurant owner, and Matt the younger brother of the city attorney. Both Grace and Matt hang on to leftover problems from their youth. When Grace’s mother was killed in a car wreck, Grace tightened up on her already strict personal code, requiring near perfection before she deemed her life worthy, at the same time judging other’s actions against her high requirements. Grace continues to make poor choices until she cannot see a way out, while Matt becomes increasingly confused. I enjoyed the other two books in this series, so I was expecting great reading with this one. However, when it began with a young girl just out of law school, I was a little disappointed and it took me a while to get into the story. Then, Grace’s constant struggle with feelings of inadequacy, really touched my heart, and before the end of the story, I was shedding tears for her. The story is interesting and fun to read with a twist at the end that I did not see.

Cathy Bryant in her new book, “The Way of Grace by Cathy Bryant The Way Of Grace” Book Three in the Miller’s Creek series published by WordVessel Press brings us into the life of Grace Soldano. From the back cover: In pursuit of justice, in need of grace . . . A justice-seeking perfectionist pursues her dream of a perfect life in her hometown of Miller’s Creek, Texas. Sidetracked by a desire to be a prosecuting attorney, Grace Soldano launches into uncharted waters, making herself over to impress her boss. Then a disheveled free-spirit turns her perfectly ordered world upside down, challenging the ideal of personal goodness. A fall from perfection leaves her teetering between vengeance and grace, caught in a deadly crossfire that leaves her dreams in a heap of ashes. Can she learn to joyfully accept the life God has given her–far from perfect–but completely immersed in His grace? After the miracle of turning the water into wine at the wedding at Cana the wine steward went to the married couple complaining that they had held the best wine to the last. So Has Cathy Bryant. “The Way Of Grace” is the last in the Miller’s Creek series and, I feel, the best. I think we all have met at least one perfectionist in our lives, perhaps we exhibit those traits. Grace Soldano is a perfectionist and a justice-seeker which is a bad combination because you know it will catch up to her and bite her eventually. This woman doesn’t know what side of the net to play on. First, she works for a defense attorney. Then she switches jobs and works for the prosecuting attorney. Inserted into all of this is danger, suspense and bad choices which cause a dilemma of faith. On top of all of this”The Way Of Grace” is a romance. This book will keep you up late until you finish it so I recommend that you start reading early. Ms. Bryant does a wonderful job with all her characters you would think you had known them all your life. “The Way Of Grace” is a great read that I was sorry to see come to an end. I hope Ms. Bryant has another book in the Que so that we won’t have to wait so long for a new story. Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the author. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I really didn’t know what to expect. I just thought it was going to be another feel good romance where boy gets girl. Boy was I wrong. As I got into this book I soon realize that I was way off from my earlier thoughts. This book contains edge of your seat suspense, danger, and yes some romance thrown in a time or two. It was a great book. I loved it! The main character Grace wants nothing more than to eventually become a prosecuting attorney back in her hometown. After all, she has a score to settle. Justice should be served. So when Grace is offered a job working for a friend helping him with a case for the defense she isn’t happy about it. Since Andy has done so much to help her with her education she takes the job. Much to the dismay of Andy, Grace soon takes a job working for, Elena, the prosecuting attorney. This is what she’s always wanted but Grace is confused to the treatment that Elena is showing her; furious at her one moment and nice to her the next. Just what is going on here? What doesn’t help is the fact that Grace is being pursued by, Matt, a boyfriend of her past. He just isn’t the type for her. Even her Father feels that Matt is not good enough for his daughter; after all Grace is on the way to making a name for herself. I was blown away how God worked in Grace’s heart. She came to fully understand what justice, grace, and mercy was. I think we can all take away from this book what Grace learned. I know I have a better understanding. I wish to thank the author Cathy Bryant for sending me this book to review. The opinions expressed are mine alone.
