Next to Janet Evanovich, Lynie Arden is my favorite author. What a great help to those of us who flub around searching the net. It's even fun to just read!!

What a guide like this needs to do is point out great websites we don't already know about. We all know Google and eBay, but what about places like Seeing-Stars.com (if you're visiting Hollywood to see stars) or Tipping.org (if you're wondering how much to tip that valet parking attendant). This guide lists those and hundreds more, in a relatively compact book about the size of your average almanac. A handy reference.

Ms Arden has made web surfing enjoyable once again! As well as covering a variety of subjects from casinos to health care, her Web's Greatest Hits 2004 is precise, well organized and succinct in its description of the best web sites to visit. You'll never surf without it again!!!

Within five minutes you'll want to save a spot on the shelf for this book near your computer. It's that handy. Browsing the table of contents even makes you happy. For someone like me who's on the low end of the web-savy spectrum, The Web's Greatest Hits 2004 makes that gap a lot smaller in a heartbeat. A great resource for someone who's fond of the question, 'Why?' as it pertains to just about anything.

Breezy and personable, Lynie Arden makes trolling the internet accessible even to relative newcomers, like me. I read some of the sites, and said I did not know that, like having the ability to fax through e-mail! At these prices you can't afford not to buy it! Perfect stocking stuffer!

This book is great! I was looking to buy a used car, and this book pointed me to lots of great sites. I actually found a car through the Internet, and checked through carfax.com to make sure it wasn't a lemon. I'm going to use this book all the time :)

I find this book very helpful. It has loads of up to date, quality web site listings. The categories are well indexed and easy to find. And, whereas some books will just list the web site, this book also has an introductory paragraph for each category that gives some background information and surfing help. In essence, this book not only gives me loads of links, it also teaches me how to become an efficient, expert web surfer.
