About the Author

New York Times and USA TODAY Bestselling Author, Lisa Mondello, has held many jobs in her life but being a published author is the last job she'll ever have. She's not retiring! She blames the creation of the personal computer for her leap into writing novels. Otherwise, she'd still be penning stories with paper and pen. Her book The Knight and Maggie's Baby is a New York Times Bestseller. Her popular series includes TEXAS HEARTS, DAKOTA HEARTS, Fate with a Helping Hand and the new SUMMER HOUSE series. Writing as LA Mondello, her romantic suspense, MATERIAL WITNESS, book 1 of her Heroes of Providence series made the USA TODAY Bestsellers List and was named one of Kirkus Reviews Best Books of 2012. When Hannah's hopes of a beautiful wedding dress and a marriage to Dane fall through, she enlists in the military and doesn't return for eight years. When she does, she discovers the wedding dress she so desperately wanted was willed to her. With the dress in her possession, will things right themselves and will she get her chance with Dane? Dane is determined to keep Hannah from leaving again. Can he get her back? A great story to keep you interested all the way through.

The Wedding Dress by Lisa Mondello The Inheritance Collection: Texas Hearts Series Book Seven Hannah Ward was willing to spend all of her money one a special wedding dress when she was younger. She not only lost the bid for the dress—but her fiancé as well. So she joined the army and didn't return to Liberty, Texas until now, over eight years later. And of all things, the billionaire who won the bid for the dress...has left it for her in his will. Dane Bancroft always hoped and believed one day Hannah would return to him. She's returned all right, but she's talking of leaving. Again. He's going to do all he can to make sure that doesn't happen. Sometimes life does you a second chance. In Dane and Hannah's case, it's up to them if they are going to take it or let it pass them by. Again. I enjoyed this story, as I have the previous books in this series. Some of them have serious issues, such as Libby and Jackson's book; Leaving Liberty. **Very mild language

A guardian angel? A beautiful concept to center a series around. With all of the tragedies spotlighted on a daily basis, the thought of someone lending a helping hand to a stranger was enough to have me intrigued by The Wedding Dress. Like any other couple Hannah and Dane loved deeply and blindly. When the relationship fell apart, hearts were broken, dreams were crushed and life moved on. When the kindness of a stranger has her coming face to face with her past, will she be strong enough to take a chance? Stories like this bring a lightness of heart. The Wedding Dress is a sentimental story of romance, kindness and hope. Lisa Mondello touches the heart with this one.

How Ms Mondello does it , I am not sure, but every time I finish one of her books I think “how is she going to top this one? “ Once again, she doesn’t disappoint us. This is a sweet clean romance about a wedding dress that was longed for from afar but never owned. The young HS sweethearts were set to marry after graduation, but had a falling out . The catalyst was the dress, but the reality was deeper than that. Each goes their separate ways to meet again and come full circle. Others will tell you more about the story, I will go a different way. This is a story about how our formative years and the experiences and heartaches we have at that age, will mold us as adults. It’s about self-image or lack thereof, and about how understanding and love get takes us to a much happier and better place. So go ahead, and read this book , you will not be disappointed. This book was gifted to me for an honest review, and know that it is!
