I enjoyed the other book in the series Unexpectedly Yours way more than this one. I wanted to love it, but didn't. For some reason the issues that drove the couple apart seemed small beans to me. I just don't get someone re-inventing themselves to be so earth shattering that it will cause the end of a relationship. Also, I didn't like the way it jumped time without anything happening. Maybe I was just in a reading funk! If you have read the other in the series you may enjoy this one too. This won't go on my re-read shelf! ENJOY!

Harper Poole is a very independent and successful woman. She didn't need a man in her life or want one. Harper has learned to depend on herself. she has made a good life for herself even though everything she has been through. Then one night changes everything for her. Her one night stand ends up lasting for months before she breaks it off. After she breaks things off she finds out something that she needs to tell him but she doesn't cause the timing is wrong. But will it ever? Kevin Rossi is a famous baseball player that people see as just a dumb jock but he really isn't. He falls for Harper who make him laugh and she challenges him. She doesn't see him as a jock. Their one night stand at his sister's wedding leads to something that he want but wasn't ready for. But is he now? this is my first time reading anything by this author and I loved this book. I have one book in this series and I can't wait to read the other books in this series. I can't wait to read more by this author. I recommend this book to others.

The third in the Forever Love Series by the incredibly fabulous Jeannie Moon...I read her stories and I just want to read more! The Wedding Secret takes you on Harper and Kevin's incredible journey...it is a roller coast ride of feelings and deep emotions These characters have to allow themselves to be open to love and be open to being loved (like we all do)...you will love them and will not be disappointed!! Harper is a strong woman, but a romantic at heart...you will find yourself cheering her on and hoping her dreams come true!! And....cannot forget to mention that Kevin will make you swoon....I am still daydreaming about him! Ms. Moon is a fantastically talented writer and I cannot wait for more!!!

The Wedding Secret, Jeannie Moon Review from jeannie zelos book reviews Sometimes I just like a gentle, easy to read romance and I’d picked on this one yesterday. Well, its easy to read but a little to light for me. Harper was a good lead but...she'd worked hard to get where she was, and I thought she was naïve to think she could escape telling her employers and best friends that Meg's brother was the father of her baby. To me she's too intelligent to make such a silly mistake – still – she did and now Kevin is back in town for good, and she needs to tell him. She's felt guilty all along about her secret and its not easy revealing it. Kevin took it badly, he was shocked, though as his mum reminds him it took two of them! He's holding a grudge anyway about how Harper dropped him – but is still really attracted to her, which seems to annoy him at times. But is he ready to be a father, a family man? Lots of decisions on both sides, and they made some moves that I really didn't understand, reacted differently to what I would expect knowing the character type presented. Still, it all works out with a sweet happy ending. Overall a fun, light read but not one to keep for me. Still, its probably just what many readers love, romance, sweet story and a HEA. Not every one wants deep exciting drama of course! Stars: Three – its OK, a decent read but nothing heart-stopping. ARC supplied via Netgalley

A very nice read. This story has everything: love, attraction, drama, misunderstandings, a strong woman, a baby and then a deserved HEA. It is a very good idea to read the first two books by this author in this series, Temporary Wife and Unexpectedly Yours ( a Forever Love series) The nice thing about it is that it still is a stand alone story. However, if you did not read the other books, you would have no idea hoe the woman Harper has acted or perceived herself. You may have hated her in the other books but love her in this one. She is a fighter and survivor. Kevin, on the other hand, still needs to grow up and eventually does. I would have given it a 5 star if there were more romance or if there was a better understanding of their attraction. The book basically had them linked together because of the baby but there was more to their attraction. Loved this series and definitely suggest you read it for the interactions, the family dynamics and the absolutely adorable daddy and daughter moments.

This is the third book of Jeannie Moon’s I’ve read. The first two reeled me in and made her a “must read” for me. I have to say The Wedding Secret didn’t disappoint. As a matter of fact the opening left me needing something VERY cold to drink as it was hot, hot, HOT.  In the first two books, I didn’t like Harper, but by the end of this book (well, really way before then) I totally loved her. She’s deeper than ever expected and so deserved a happy ending. Kevin was at times irresistible and infuriating. Love his mother and when she asked him if he’d been deprived of oxygen at birth! The ups and downs as these two fell in love had me turning page after page and not wanting to put it down until I hit “the end”.  Love the extended family and the drama going on…because they felt so real (sisters made at Harper, sisters made at Kevin, family pulling together…everything you hope for in a story). This story had me laughing, crying and cheering for the characters and I know it will for you too.

I enjoyed the first two Forever Love novels immensely, and this one was no exception. It's no easy feat to redeem a character that wasn't all too likable in an earlier tale, but that's exactly what Moon does with Harper Poole with her unexpected background, insecurities and determination to go it alone. Enter the deliciously clueless man playing a boy's game, baseball star Kevin Rossi, and an unexpected baby and you've got a sweet, light entertaining read that's fully satisfying.

I was so excited when I discovered Jeannie Moon's third book in her Forever Love Story series would be about the elusive and enigmatic, Harper Poole. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and am happy to say THE WEDDING SECRET does not disappoint! I loved this story and could not put it down until it was done. Harper is a complex woman and a fascinating character. We know from The Temporary Wife and Unexpectedly Yours she is an extremely independent, intelligent, take charge woman who solves problems and never shows a vulnerable side. She is also very loyal to the people she likes and trusts. In The Wedding Secret we learn about her background, which displays just how strong and capable she is, and we see her as a mother, which proves she has a softer side and a huge capacity for love. She is not perfect, but she owns her choices and stands by her reasoning. She also makes amends and humbly accepts the fallout when her secrets come out. I loved Harper's character!! Kevin Rossi, professional baseball catcher and older brother to Meg and Caroline, has been living the life of a player both on and off the field with no intention of settling down and starting a family. He and Harper have a very hot, but secret affair that started at his sister Caroline's wedding and ends when he tells Harper he's signed a contract to play for a team on the other side of the country. Harper, having no desire to trap him with an unexpected and unplanned family, decides not to tell him she's pregnant with his child and let's him go. The story really takes off when Kevin comes back to New York with hopes of starting back up with Harper. It seems he fell hard for her and even a year away was not enough to get over her. Harper also fell hard for Kevin and was devastated when he chose to leave, so she isn't ready to trust him with her heart a second time. Despite the insane chemistry between these two - and now a baby girl - pride, stubbornness, hurt feelings, confusion, and a myriad of other emotions and events keep them apart. The Rossi sisters and their husbands, the Campbell brothers do their best to interfere as well. Plus the drama that is Harper's own family that she has been able to keep at a distance and a secret all this time, has arrived at her front door, adding to the mix. None of it makes working out their feelings for one another pleasant or easy for either of them, but it does make for an incredibly engaging story. Ms. Moon masterfully takes us through the ups and downs, showing the great depth in the very real and justified feelings of everyone involved, especially once all of Harper's secrets start to come out. This story deals with some serious issues, but is also laced with plenty of humor and none too few sexy scenes because despite their situation, Kevin and Harper are crazy about each other and can't keep their hands to themselves. In the end it was all worth it to see Harper get a well-deserved HEA. Overall a fantastic read and I am hoping not the last book in this wonderful series. 4.5 stars. ~Complimentary copy provided via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

The Wedding Secret is the third book in the Forever Love Story series. This is a wonderful story that had me from page one. Harper Poole works for Jason Campbell who is a billionaire. She has become friends with his wife Megan who also has a sister Caroline and brother Kevin. While at Caroline’s wedding to Josh Campbell, Jason’s brother, she has a one night stand with Kevin. Kevin is a baseball player who is in the middle of negotiating his contract. He decides to move out of state at the same time Harper discovers she’s pregnant. Not only does she keep the news from Kevin but she also keeps who the father of her baby is from her boss and his extended family. Kevin returns to New York and runs into Harper. He discovers that not only has she had his baby but she’s told a few mistruths about her life before coming to work with Jason. We discover who Harper really is and why her past has influenced her life in such dramatic form. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love Ms. Moon’s writing style. She’s definitely written another winner. I can’t wait for her next book to come out. I would like to disclose that I received a copy of The Wedding Secret from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Good Book! Whew, and pass me an ice cold towel because the prologue of The Wedding Secret by Jeannie Moon is hot, steamy, and tantalizing. As a result, I was immediately drawn into the lives of successful business woman Harper Poole and professional baseball player Kevin Rossi. Their attraction is amazing and as a consequence of their loving tryst during Kevin's sister's wedding, Harper is pregnant. Nine months later, her beautiful daughter Anna is born. Unfortunately, Kevin has no idea that he created a life. Although Harper's friends and family know about Anna, they also have no idea that Kevin is the father. Harper and Kevin kept their brief affair private, so no one even knew they were seeing each other. Since Harper has worked for Kevin's brother-in-law for a number of years, overtime, Kevin's family basically adopted Harper into their lives. In addition, with Kevin returning to town to play for the Mets, Harper has no choice but to tell him about Anna, since they keep running into each other. The story progresses with Kevin's reaction to Anna as well as Harper's lies. Both are in turmoil, adjusting to each other and joint parenthood, while realizing that their feelings from a year ago are still alive and well. I liked this book, in fact, the entire series is very good. Ms. Moon is a talented storyteller and her characters are well-defined, likeable and real. I enjoyed how the details of Harper's personal life unraveled and how her estranged mother finally came to her terms with her lack of mothering, while Harper was growing up. I found Kevin to be a little whiny and I loved his mother, she is a true ball-buster. Overall, a fast-paced, enjoyable read.

This is the third book in the series of Forever Love Story. The story of Harper and Kevin, who met a wedding, had a one month fling and then parted separate ways. Harper has many secrets in her life and the biggest one that she kept from Kevin. Kevin has come back into town to try and reconnect with Harper until he finds out some of the secrets. Can they survive from the hurt? I absolutely fell in love with this book from the first page, I could not put it down. It was great to reconnect with the previous characters from the other books. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review.

Harper Poole has an MBA from Harvard and is a high-powered assistant who runs the day to day operations for Jason Campbell's multi-billion dollar software company. She has everything she wants except for the love of a good man. But, Harper has more than one secret she is keeping and it could blow her life and career out of the water. Kevin Rossi is a superstar major league catcher who had a brief affair with the beautiful and sexy Harper. Kevin feels Harper is the one for him but he selfishly places his career first and accepts a baseball contract that takes him from New York to California...and away from Harper. When their secret affair results in a pregnancy, Harper decides to keep this information from Kevin. She understands him well enough to know he would feel trapped and that is not her intention. The high-powered, emotionless Harper has fallen deeply in love with her baby girl. A year after the affair Harper runs into Kevin at a business event and is taken aback by the very sight of him. Her heart slams into her chest and words escape her. When she finds out he is back to stay she must make a decision about her daughter's involvement with her father. Although she feels terrible for keeping the baby a secret from Kevin she also remembers how he continually stressed that he did not want to be tied down in a relationship or to have a family while he was still playing ball and he most definitely made Harper very aware of how he felt. What was a woman to do after the man she cares so deeply for tells her this and moves across the country? I really enjoyed this story and it was wonderful to see Harper in this light. I knew there was more to her than what I saw in 'The Temporary Wife: A Forever Love Story' and 'Unexpectedly Yours: A Forever Love Story.' It was heartwarming to view the deep devoted love she had for her daughter and the vulnerability that appeared whenever she thought of or was around Kevin. Kevin's character troubled and disappointed me with his actions and reactions towards Harper. When she needed him the most...he went AWOL...twice. I had high hopes he would be more sensitive, understanding and supporting, showing a maturity that unfortunately he had not obtained. He was mostly a jerk who hurt Harper deeply and made an ass of himself several times. I found it unacceptable when all of the sudden he forgets about the poor choices he has made in his own life and his years of man-whoring around. That made me very sad for Harper and Anna. For these reasons I could not give the book a 5-star rating. In the end he is once again likeable but I wish it had happened sooner. We also got to catch up with Jason, Meg, Josh, Caroline and Mrs. Rossi. I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review. All in all I enjoyed this book very much as well as the series and I highly recommend it.

Another fantastic read in Jeannie Moon's Forever Love series!! Very well written with characters that just take up a place in your heart. After a month long fling following Kevin's sisters wedding, Kevin and Harper go their separate ways. Kevin leaves for California but he's back now and wants to reconnect. Harper has secrets she wants to keep so that can't happen!! You will definitely want to read this one and find out what happens. Highly recommended read!

Harper and Kevin were a couple that were meant to be together but something pulled them apart. Harper Poole comes across as this girl who had everything she wanted growing up and continued to have now while she was a hard-nosed employee for Jason Campbell's company. But in all honesty she is very far from that in a lot of ways and has had to overcome a lot in her life. The latest would be her quick romance with Kevin Rossi, a major league baseball player. Just when it seemed to Harper that things were going right and he would be telling his family/her friends about her, he threw her a surprise, he was traded to a team in San Diego. That blew Harper away, especially since she was going to tell him that she was pregnant. She made the hardest decision and that was to not tell him she was pregnant or his family that it was his. She hoped to succeed but then there was another wrench or two in that idea, he came home and she realized she couldn't keep it a secret. Would they be able to finally admit to each other that what they had that was a once in a lifetime, fireworks every time they touched, and that they loved each other? Or would they still keep it a secret as well and Kevin remain the idiotic jock he was? What about Harper's past, would that be revealed and floor everyone so much that any chance be ruined? I can't say because that would ruin it all. A definite must read and I can't wait for more books from Jeannie. (I did receive an early copy for review)
