Yet again I'm faced with a conundrum. I enjoy books with strong heroines who know what they want and are not afraid to go after it. However, there is a fine line between being a strong independent woman and just being a nasty witch only out for yourself regardless of how your actions may hurt others. Aria doesn't ride that line, she crosses over it and has a permanent residence on the other side. Meanwhile Marco goes from a strong, hot alpha type to weak and confused allowing Aria to lead him by the nose to meet her own ends. As much as I am enjoying this series, I seem to have issues with the female wolves from New Orleans. I love the world that Shannan and Rhys have built. The suspense factor is unexpected but a great twist that I am enjoying unraveling one clue at a time. I'm looking forward to seeing where Shannan and Rhys take us with the whole unbonded wolves mystery.

I started the series in book 4 and fell in love so I just had to read the rest wow this one was great too! Marco Disanti has made a name for himself since he has been on his own since his mid teen. Aria was having a bad week her very best friend, sister of the heart has now mated and staying in Texas. Her bff was the chief enforcer and Aria right under her but instead of moving her up in rank the Alpha moved in ex military ranger Raine Dubois. Since the wouldnt let her in the meeting in Vegas she is now in one best restaurants around. It's a good thing too because she wouldn't have meet her mate if she hadn't had been there. Hot, spicy and I love how the author is bulging info about the bad guy. So much fun, I really love this series. It's a great add to my shifter library

This was a steamy hot read about Marco and Aria. Feeling alone since Reyna found and bonded with her fated mate, Aria was looking for no-strings attached connections to fill the void. She met Marco who piqued her interest and was all ready for a good fling only that Marco had other ideas. There's no other women who had intrigued him as much as Aria had but as much as he would give her the most pleasurable experience, it would have to be on his terms. I definitely enjoyed Marco and Aria's chemistry but I didn't like how she took advantage of Marco and did things against his wishes. I did understand the need since it was vital to get that information, I just felt there could have been a better way. I also enjoyed how Marco developed and became more comfortable being a wolf, credits to Aria. The plot is getting more intriguing as more is being revealed. And it seems that Elise is no longer the only unbonded wolf. I'm looking forward to the next book. ARC provided by the author in exchange for a honest review.

I was lucky enough to get a free copy of this book from the Author for an honest Review. I love this series because you get to know the characters one by one but you also get snippets in the other books as well. This book had me sucked into the book from page one and I was with the characters all way. After being replaced as enforcer Aria goes and eats at Amara where she meets head chef Marco. He is also a unbounded werewolf who doesn't know how to be a wolf. But there is more to it than meets the eye between the two of them. This story is brilliant, suspenseful, funny and very sexy a defiant MUST read. Easy to read, well written and if I could I would give it more than 5 stars

My favorite in the series - I just loved Aria and Marco together. They both have their issues, but those issues are make them them so great. Marco is afraid to be intimate and let his wolf out - he thinks he may lose control. Aria is a bit jealous of her friend from book one, and is out on the prowl for a little fix. Marco is amazingly sensual. As a chef he has learned the value of texure and subtlety. This carries over into his sexual interactions - whcih are quite unique and sound very exciting. It doesn't hurt that his found sounds delicious too! He may be seductive, but he needs to let go of some things before he can really find happiness. Aria, well, she's something else. She's a little crazy with jealousy, but not in a bad way - and she's being a bit proactive about going out and finding herself a man. Even if it is just for one night. The Werewolf Bodyguard really opens up the spin off storyline wide open and sets up the whole story arc in a way that you will be sucked into never to return - at least until you finish the series. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

Great Book! This is a great book; this is the second book in the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. The books in this series can be read as a standalone, however, if you want the whole story then I would recommend reading them in order. Aria LeBlanc is a werewolf and a bodyguard, she is in Vegas to protect her alpha for a meeting about finding some unbounded werewolf’s. She just wants to relax and drown her sorrows in the delectable tastes of renowned chef, Marco DiSanti. When she realizes that Marco is also an unbounded and unstable werewolf, she is determined to find the wolf that is responsible. She soon realizes that Marco is her mate. If you are looking for a great paranormal romance that you can read in one sitting then you need to read this book and series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

This is the second read in the Moonbound series. Aria is in Las Vegas and is licking her wounds, her cousin and best friend has moved to be with her mate, the uncle she sees as a father figure his distancing himself from her and chosen another to be his enforcer. Marco is a famous chef and unbound wolf, when he meets Aria his whole world changes. Great read, with plenty of drama and steamy.

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Camryn Rhys and Krystal Shannan. This is book 2 of the Moonbound series by the authors. Aria LeBlanc is in Vegas with several pack members for a meeting but when she finds a wolf who has no pack things take a strange turn for her. Marco DiSanti felt the electricity in the air at the restaurant and when he sees a gorgeous lady the sparks fly between them. Aria must find his mother and get answers for her alpha but what they find causes more problems between the 2 of them.

Marco DiSanti is a top chef in Las Vegas. He’s also a werewolf that’s never met another werewolf. While schmoozing the top-paying clientele, he scents something he’s only scented one other time, another werewolf. He can’t believe it when it also turns out to be a beautiful woman. Aria LaBlanc isn’t sure what to make of the werewolf that seems to be as full of it as a stuffed pastry. With the week she’s been having, she doesn’t have a lot of patience for his antics. When he claims he’s never met any other werewolves, she immediately contacts her alpha to figure out truth whether he likes it or not. I was happy to see Aria find happiness in the end. She’s basically had her world turned upside down and trying to cope. In the same aspect, she basically turns Marco’s world upside down, but in the end they are able to make it through together. I’m also really getting into the overall plot that started with the other books I’ve read. It keeps everything fresh and makes me impatient for the next book. I highly recommend this book and the series. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

More please.... I received an ARC of 'The Werewolf Bodyguard' from Krystal Shannan, in exchange for an honest review. I couldn't wait to start reading 'The Werewolf Bodyguard' esecially after reading book 1 from Krystal & Camryn. 'The Werewolf Bodyguard' is the second book in Krystal & Camryn's "Moonbound" series, also it's a spin-off/ continuation to Krystal's "VonBrandt Family" series... I might even suggest you at least read Krystal's 'To Win A Mate' prior to starting this series, '"Moonbound" should also be read in order. I think Krystal & Camryn did an outstanding job in co-writing this book & series, all the facts are there, the characters, old & new are so life-like. While the Alpha's are in Vegas, yet another meeting, New Orleans enforcer & Reyna's cousin, Aria finds herself in a top restaurant deciding to drown her sorrows in some delictable food. But what she finds is another unbound wolf, who knows nothing of pack life, bringing the news to the alphas, they send her on a mission through Las Vegas to find the answers they need. Marco felt something different in the restaurant that night, following his something inside himself he finds something he's only ever found once before, another wolf.... I was quickly enthralled, not even a chapter in & I was HOOKED, I don't think I came up for air until I finished the last page. Bring on the next book in this series.

Dig deeper into the series... In this second book of the series, we see Aria whom we met in book one... she is in Vegas for the special summit... while there, she comes across Marco and the magick begins! Another unbonded wolf, more pieces to unveil... and a name of one that is truly evil comes to light. A tale that digs deep into Marco's life and shows him there is more out there for him! Another great book in this series! I love the characters and how this unfold for them! Definitely looking forward to more! * copy given in exchange for an honest review.

An arrogant Las Vegas celebrity chef who turns out to be a unbonded wolf unaware of wolf hierarchy or packs is "discovered" by an enforcer from the New Orleans pack! This series revolves around the discovery of these unbonded wolves and the where, why and how! This story is rich in stellar moments of Chef Marco DiSanti's embracing his wolf and enforcer Aria LeBlanc's struggle to find answers and her "marking" of Marco with the mating bonds!! Love this remarkable series!!

Marco is the chef at a premier Vegas restaurant. Tired of the deceptions in his life, seeing a sexy wolf walk in his restaurant catches his full attention. Aria is an enforcer for her pack, in Vegas for a summit between packs. Feeling pushed out of every role in her life, leaving her angry and frustrated she sets out to sample what Vegas has to offer. What this wolf didn't expect was the decadent Marco. Deliciously sensual and erotic! This one will get your heart pumping. Marco is really put through the ringer as the story progresses, and many things that have been hidden from him are revealed. This story has plenty of sultry moments, mixed with hard truths and even moments that will pull a giggle out of you. From the first word to the last this story pulls you in and delivers a great read. I really enjoyed it. Received a copy for an honest review.

RATING 4.5 STARS The Werewolf Bodyguard is book two in the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by one of the authors. All of the alpha wolves are holding a meeting in Las Vegas, trying to figure out how to move forward in finding out information on the unbonded wolf, Elise. Finding an unbonded wolf is unheard of. Ever since Reyna bonded with Allan, Aria LaBlanc has been out of sorts. She knew she should be happy for Reyna, but they were like sisters. And to top it all off, her alpha named Rainier as top enforcer of their pack. Aria just took it for granted it would be her. While in Vegas Aria heard about a restaurant called Amare with a fabulous chef so she went to check it out. The food really was delicious but her sights soon became set on the sexy chef who she was surprised to realize was also a wolf, Marco. Marco DiSanti didn’t mind visiting with the patrons of the restaurant. They loved meeting the person that cooked for them. But when he saw the beautiful woman sitting alone, he felt something new, a stirring within him. He needed more of her, and he would get it. “Aria was different, and not just because she was a wolf. As mad as he was, as confused as he was, he couldn’t help wanting her. And it was tearing him apart.” Aria discovers that Marco is also unbonded. How can this be? So she takes him to her alpha to figure out what to do. This begins a night of discovery. As Aria and Marco search for the truth of his heritage, they also discover the power of the magick that wants to bind them together. They are each other’s fated mate. But Marco has had so much thrown at him tonight, discovered so much he never knew. She can feel his fear, hear his heart pounding. How can she convince him that his inner wolf is a gift, not a curse? And that she is his mate, his future. “He was Fate’s gift to her and she wasn’t giving up on him, not by a long shot.” I loved this one. First of all, you have a sexy chef cooking for his woman. There isn’t anything more sigh worthy than that. And Marco had some interesting ideas what to use melted chocolate and whip cream for. I really enjoyed watching Marco discover and accept his wolf, his heritage, and his mate. He and Aria were perfect together. I look forward to book three in this series, The Werewolf Ranger, where we will get Rainier’s story. “You’re not alone anymore, Marco.”
