It all starts one sunny morning as Mermilo, a purebred Golden Retriever is heading to his groomer. He is preparing for a long awaited evening out that night with the beautiful French Poodle who lives across the street and he wants to look his best. Unfortunately, a huge obstacle presents itself: he is dognapped. Not just Mermilo, but dogs from all over town are disappearing, as well!
Only one individual witnesses the actual crime and might be able to help poor Mermilo and the others. Fats Furball and two of his feline cronies anonymously tip off the police, then decide to set out on their own, launching a humorous rescue attempt of their fellow canine friends. Meanwhile, Mermilo and his newfound buddies are trying to bust out from the inside of their abductors’ makeshift prison. The police start closing in, thanks to the three felines.
