When Ania moves from London to Swansea city in Wales she is hoping that her life will get a bit more exciting, after all she is running away from her controlling mother to taste more freedom and feel more independent. Everything seems to be going the way she wanted until she almost dies while taking a quiet walk around the beach in the late evening.

When she opens her eyes, nothing seems the same...

She starts seeing people that no one else is able to notice. An enchanting looking man keeps following her and Ania’s life seems to getting more exciting than she ever wished for.

After the attack something changes inside her, she has been blessed with the new frightening gift of seeing and hearing sprites all around her... the magical creatures that only existed in folklore, myths and legends of Britain.

Gabriel is attractive and handsome but no ... he is not a vampire. He keeps coming back and Ania feels an instant connection between them but this might get her into more trouble. Supernatural romance is not on her mind right now.

Because he is forbidden to even touch her ... the line between the death and love has never been so thin and the sprites won’t stop whispering until ... she will choose to love or abandon Gabriel

The only good thing I can say about this was it was free. The writing is wooden, the heroine is not likable, and I almost gave up on it 3 times. I had just a glimmer of interest to see how the couple got together to finish plowing through 500+ pages only to discover that they don't get together by the end of the book and there are 2 more books in the series that I'm expected to purchase! Not gonna happen. Don't waste your time on this one.

Written as if badly transcribed from a foreign language with incomplete sentences leading to a sporadic & choppy story line with improper use of words and spelling. Would be a nice read if not for the above.

Held my interest and then the ending stunk. It didnt even explain anything at all

I can't finish it. As one other reviewer stated, the only good thing about this book is that it was free. I would give it negative stars if that were possible.

One moment I thought; This is pretty good, then I was trying to rush through the next pages to find a good part. I'm still not sure what the heck was going on. I guess the deciding factor is I have no desire to read the next installment.

Whispers of The Sprite is filled with suspense, mystery, paranormal elements, and romance. Ania was thrilled to be going off to college so she can escape her controlling mother, but things do not go according to plan. He first night there she is attacked. When she wakes up she is in the hospital and the first thing she sees is a good looking guy in the room watching over her. Gabriel is a Sprite, and as a Sprite he is assigned a human to watch over and guide. He feels horrible that Ania was attacked. When she wakes up and can actually see him he is shocked. Humans cannot see Sprites, and Ania has never seen him before. Both Gabriel an Ania find that they are attracted to one another, but their love is a forbidden one. Even though they are star-crossed lovers, they cannot stay away from one another. But they need to find out who attacked Ania and why. Whoever attacked her gave her the ability to see Sprites, and they needed to find out what their motive was. This story is filled with a mysterious air. Ania’s attack and her new ability to see Sprites, the fact that she was even attacked at all and the continued feeling of dread that surrounds her. All she wants is to be independent, but the cost of her independence may be her life. From Sprites to Fairies, this book is filled with magic, suspense, romance, and mystery. It is enchanting, captivating, and refreshingly unique. A fast read that will have you anxious to know what happens next! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
