A valise comes flying out of the window of a limousine speeding along the interstate and lands not twenty feet from where Chad Arthur is walking home from school. Chad picks up the valise and waits patiently for the limousine to return. This is Glenn Parker's eighth novel. He has published numerous short stories in both the U.S. and New Zealand. Mr. Parker taught English for 25 years in Burns Lake and Prince George, British Columbia as well as two years in New Zealand.
