Author Karen Helene Walker has created a fanciful adventure that travels through time, as well as a journey of well-being. It follow the lives of three women from different generations who encounter a beautiful light and a mysterious voice that guides them. THE WISHING STEPS follows the journey of these three women from different time periods. The author blends their stories in such a way that the tale flows smoothly and effortlessly from one to the other. The three protagonists – Brighed, Ashleen and Megan – will inspire readers to be true to themselves. The story transforms you while drawing you in. The emotions throughout the story are vivid. Described with pure feelings, the characters’ ups and downs can be felt through their words and actions. This is a story dealing with powerful women who face their challenges with strength, determination, and courage in when they feel otherwise. THE WISHING STEPS is an enchanting tale that will enlighten and delight. A quick read you won’t be able to put down once you begin.
