This was such a charming book and pleasant read! I enjoyed learning about the history and lore of a witch's broom, the various woods traditionally used and their corresponding magical attributes, the importance of keeping separate and specific brooms from mundane vs.magical use, as well as practical crafts, spells and charms for various rituals/occasions. I especially enjoyed the tidbits of broom lore and charming artwork that were embedded throughout the brook like little sprinklings of magic here and there, along with the Real Witches, Real Brooms guest authors who shared how they use their brooms. After reading The Witch's Broom, I have a fuller understanding of and greater appreciation for the broom's place in a witch's life.
