I read about 5 books each week, my favorite genre "romantic suspense", heavy on the suspense but I require things to turn out well in the end. After all, I read for pleasure. This book had the gritty sudpense, good character development & great, believable plot, but also had me laughing out loud! I loved it so much I'll probably reread it many times!

This is fantastic. Such a great adjustment of focus in characters with the leading female not being weak and submissive. I hope to see many more about GO Teams and strong female leads!

I could not put it down!

If Linda Howard doesn't start a series with these fantastic characters it's a shame. Her crafting of plot is spectacular and she gives depths to all her characters. Her ability to write thought process is right up there with Dean Koontz, Stephen King and Nora Roberts! Her knowledge of the world of spycraft can compete with Brad Thor and Kyle Mills. Overall story telling is right up there with Christeen Feehan! These people demand a series.....PLEASE!

Not much of a plot and the main characters were okay but not engaging enough. Disappointing plot.

The characters in this book are exciting and believable-especially Babe/Jina. I found myself laughing so many times at her reactions and dialogue. She is very easy to relate to and I just could not put this book down. I love strong women and Ace is not too shabby either. I enjoy reading the book and then buying the audiobook to get my double dose of a great summer read at the beach.

This is what can be called 'read candy'. Fast and fun read. Characters were 2 dimensional, including female lead, formulaic and their interactions predictable. The actual plot was more of an after thought. The humor was good overall but it, as the invisible plot and underdeveloped characters, this read more like a screen play. Fun read and not taxing on your mind.

No one crafts a story better. No emotion is left unturned as she takes you on a high octane page turner about a woman embedded with a special operations team and a love that blazes hotter than the desert.

My Review Title: A thrilling paramilitary romantic suspense tale! ★¸¸.•*¨*•★Minor Spoilers Alert★•*¨*•.¸¸★ Writing style: 3rd Person Omniscient POV •*¨*• Story rating: ★★★★☆ Jina and Levi were thrown together by their work for a paramilitary organization. What astonished me most was how long they fought their attraction to each other. Jina joined Levi’s team as a drone operator because of her unique skills. Her paramilitary training seemed brutal to me, but she determinedly completely it all including jumping out of a freaking airplane not once but several times. I loved the scene when she ruminates on dismembering Levi, too funny! Their missions were fairly routine until they weren’t. The mission that ends up with her seemingly left behind forced her to reevaluate her career goals. The change she made was a smart one in my opinion and it also made it possible for her and Levi to finally knock some boots. Their breakfast kitchen scene was smoking hot and became my 2nd favorite scene. This 2nd installment in the Go-Team series also had a crazy thrilling climax with the villainess. Mad props to author Linda Howard for pulling that off so well. I’m so glad I took a dive back into her romantic suspense pool!

Linda Howard is back! This book combines the wit of the Blair Mallory series with the suspense of the John Medina series. I had read Troublemaker, and it was completely forgettable. I was happy to see her unique writing style is back. Great read!
