I believe I had aleady reviewed this once on here, though it was for the special edition, and that no longer appears to be available. No matter. I will review it again. This is another one of those bands that I have never been disappointed by, and that stands true with this new album. I have been listening to Demon Hunter since their 1st album, and I absolutely love them! They are positively one of my favorite bands! I can relate to some of the lead singer's lyrics too. If you are any sort of rock/metal/hardcore fan at all, I totally recommend this album, or any album by these guys!

I enjoy Demon Hunter, and this is a good album by them. But I feel disappointed by what came in the deluxe pack. There was only thing I liked, the bandanna, although it feels cheap it still looks cool. The other stuff was meh...Buttons, some people may like em, but not me. The cds came in paper sleeves, not very protective, what if I want to take them somewhere? The sticker was lame looking, nobody would know it was a Demon Hunter sticker unless they followed the art of the album. I also see little use for the included photo cards of the band, if I want to see the band I'll look online or in the booklet, I don't need a paper card for that. The hand written lyrics were kinda cool to see, but hard to read. Finally, the bonus tracks weren't that great... So good album, lame special edition.

I am honored to be the 1st to review this new album by what is probably one of my single favorite bands of all time! I have been listening to Demon Hunter since shortly after they 1st started out, and I hafta say...I have never bought an album by these guys that disappointed me. This album is no exception either. In fact, it's probably one of their best thus far in my opinion. They have several excellent growling, heavy hitting songs to enjoy on this one, but also evenly and beautifully mix it was some captivating slower & lyrically inspiring ballads as well. This is a must own for any Demon Hunter or metal fan. Don't even think about it...just go buy it! For any of you contemplating buying the deluxe edition version, it's totally worth it! You pay maybe an extra $10 to $15, maybe $20, and you get all sorts of neat little door prizes. It contains a limited edition collectable handkerchief with some kick@$$ artwork on it, one or two booklets containin lyrics and exclusive artwork & photos...4 extra exclusive band photos, 4 buttons, a sticker, a DVD containing a making of featurette and some live acoustic performances, and then of course the album. (I wore one of the exclusive buttons on my work uniform today as a subtle tribute to the album's release, lol). Don't download this one folks...lame! Go out and buy it! I look forward to listening to this one again and again. It was excellent!
