About the Author

Award winning novelist Steven G. Jackson holds a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California, and lives with his wife and yellow lab “Bear” in Southern California. He also serves as Vice President of the Southern California Writers Association.

I spent my first career as an engineering and technology director in the defense business. I learned about the defense and intelligence businesses, and believed they made for fascinating reading.

Now I write full-time. I write thriller novels, one-act stage plays, and short-short stories, the latter two mostly comedies. I wrote a screenplay adaptation of one of my novels. But I spend most of my time writing thrillers, because that’s what I enjoy reading most. My book collection features those authors I admire and hope to remind readers of - Robert Ludlum, Dan Simmons, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Isaac Asimov, Nelson DeMille, T. Jefferson Parker, and Tom Clancy.

I live with my exceptional family in Laguna Niguel, California. My wife and I are big fans of fine dining and preparing gourmet meals, and keep fans aware of the best restaurants and vacation spots in the world on my website at, where you can also find entertaining writing tidbits.

This book is dedicated to my wife Yann. Without your unconditional love and support, this dream would not have come true.

Steve Jackson’s debut novel, introduces Nick King, a cyber weapons specialist who has developed the next-generation’s worm capable of sabotaging the evil plans of jihadist. As payback for the death of Usama bin Laden following the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, King’s target is Saleh, the Islamic extremist who killed his parents in the 1983 Beirut embassy bombing. King, a likable action hero, finds himself in the midst of terror attacks from Libya to Laguna Beach, California. As well as the safety of our country he seeks revenge for his Grandfather before he passes away. Steven Jackson’s research and knowledge of terror and weaponry brings a sense of authentic to the fast moving story. Though, Jackson’s character descriptions tend to be a bit most detailed than most thriller writers, readers will not be disappointed. Readers drawn to thrillers based of the terrorism now threatening all of us will be captured by this intriguing story

Fantastic book!  Excellent plot line, character development, suspenseful, and a real page turner.  There was never a slow spot and I was so intrigued that I continued reading and finished the book in one day.
