USA Today Bestseller of steamy historical westerns

Who doesn't love the romance of the old West? Vanessa Vale takes the sensual appeal of rugged cowboys a step further with her bestselling books set in the Montana Territory. They are much more than just sexy historical westerns. They're deliciously naughty reads that sometimes push the boundaries of fantasy. It's pure escapism with quite a few very hot, very alpha cowboys.

When she's not writing, Vanessa savors the insanity of raising two boys, is figuring out how many meals she can make with a pressure cooker, and teaches a pretty mean karate class. She considers herself to be remarkably normal, exceedingly introverted and fairly vanilla, which does not explain her steamy stories and her fascination with cowboys, preferably more than one at a time.

She lives in the Wild Wild West where there's an endless source of 'research' material.

OMW!!! Although the story was told in 109 pages, it id not a cliffhanger!!! It is full of hot, raw sex told from each personal view. The story is based upon life without the Puritan restrictions that limit people. This is a book of good people who live life based upon dependence upon each other, glued by hot, hot sex! No romance here1 Be prepared for a couple of hours to read, because once you start, you won' t stop.

Oh my! I was so aroused and in need throughout this book, which I could not put down. I about threw my kindle once I got to the end of the book. NO! I did not want the story to end. Emma is in a bad situation when her step-brother sells her. Luckily, she is bought by Kane and Ian, who can not wait to take Emma home. I know I wanted to be right there with them all at that ranch. I believe there are still men who need to find a bride... sign me up! I am not sure that I can wait until the next book, to release all that I am feeling right now. Great story! I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Help me I'm Melting!!!! Hot Hot Hot! Vanessa Vale spins a story of a sweet girl that wakes up finding that she, the heiress, was sold to a brothel by all people.....her step brother! She is now broke (step brother also cleaned out her bank account) and has two choices work at the brothel on her back or head to a marriage auction where the bidders has certain.....tastes we could say. She is auctioned to two ranchers that train her to be thier wife. As always, Ms Vale brings on the heat! At one point I was sure my e-reader was melting! I also enjoyed the background on the men and how they came into the lifestyle. I am looking forward to more stories about the others at the ranch. However, I was left wondering if Ian ever found Thomas...... I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review."

I love a good ménage story. This one was ok and it did keep my attention but it was missing something. Being a short story/novella I know you can't always get to the meat of a story line but I had hoped for more. I enjoyed the main characters hero's Kane and Ian but Emily the heroine was not my favorite. I just couldn't connect with her.  I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series and I hope that Ms. Vale makes it longer and more in depth then this one. I'd love to see their relationship grow and blossom into something heartwarming and believable.  I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.”

It was good.... too short. There wasn't too much of a plot other than sex.

REAL READER I gave it three stars because the actual writing was good. The content was not for me. A little to cult ish for my taste.

This heroine was the worst! Grow a spine pretty please. The story was rushed with huge holes in the plot and majorly unresolved plot threads. Its only saving grace was it was free.

Enjoyable read featuring hot sexual action and spankings. The editing got a little bad toward the end but is generally a good read.

Vanessa Vale's "Their Kidnapped Bride" is the first tale in the Bridgewater Menage series. I've read other books in the series, so I thought I would come back and see how it all started. I really liked getting to know some of the larger storylines that surround each of the standalone tales in the series. As usual, there are plenty of hot sexy scenes. The leading men are super hot. I definitely need to go back and read every book in the series.

I can't believe how bad the dialogue was & their dialect was even worse. Don't quit your day job!

Different kind of book for me. I've read menage books before but not set in this time period. Kane,Ian and Emma were an awesome threesome. Lots of hot dirty sex. I enjoyed this book.

I... kind of liked this book, kind of didn't. At first, I thought this book was degrading towards women. But I had to remind myself that people do have these fantasies and therefore are completely valid. No kink/fetish/life style shaming here, please. Now, that was what I didn’t like. What I liked is that the men really did come to love her and she them. They really did try to "guide" her. I thought it was more forcing her hand, but that's just my opinion. The beginning, I found to be quite a slap in the face. It was probably my least favorite part. The middle was getting to the more likable side, but not quite. The ending was... likable, but still not there for me. It was a happy ending at least. Big thing(s) to watch out for: VERY dominant men (almost scary, but not too scary), spanking (lots of that), voyeurism, women being sold, woman having a mental battle every time she has s*x... and more than one husband (technically). If you like those things or they don't bother you, this may be the book for you. Just not for me.

Great Beginning for the series! Vanessa Vale is a new author for me. I am very please to have take a chance on a new author. Emma though that she was secured in life, then her stepbrother wanted her out of his life so he sold her to a brothel. Now, Emma had to face a virgin auction. Enter Whitmore + Ian, they bid + they were able to "purchase" Emma. The premise is that Emma has to learn to be a wife not to 1 but 2 husband. She also has to learn how to transition from a life in the city versus a life on a ranch. This book was very fun + very spicy to read.

I really enjoyed this novel! This is the first book in the Bridgewater series. Fast paced plot, very descriptive setting, and I was drawn to the characters. I do wish it was a little longer in length. Still, great read! - Sarah
