About the Author

John Anthony Adams is a third generation Southern California orange grower. He owns and operates the last orange grove in Rialto, California, which once had 10,000 acres of citrus. He is the author of 5 books on varied subjects, has a Ph.D. in soil science from the University of California at Riverside, and is historian of the Rialto Historical Society.
