This book describes the formulation and numerical implementation of the 3-D Dual Boundary Element Method DBEM for the Thermoelastic Analysis of mixed-mode crack problems in LFEM. The development of the 3-D Thermoelastic J integral for a more accurate computation of stress intensity factors, further extends the present formulation. The mixed-mode SIF has been achieved through a decomposition technique. Crack growth is analyzed under thermomechanical loads, for several examples including embedded and edge cracks.
