If ever a whole town could be haunted, Devil's Moon, Kentucky would be that town. Ripley Van Raden, or Rip as her friends call her, has come back to her hometown to start her own ghost tour business. That's not her only career path though. Librarian by day, and ghost tour guide by night, Rip is ready to take on the ghosts following her around and the mysterious residents who show up for more than the tour in the Devil's Moon Cemetery.

Her first day on the job as librarian, Ripley finds a dead body and a ghost who can only communicate through electronics. Who knew ghosts could send text messages? To make things even more complicated, Ripley meets a hot cop who happens to also be a ghost hunter. She doesn't know if Brannon Landon is interested in helping her or just around for the paranormal activity.

When Rip discovers threatening notes between the pages of a novel, she must solve the library patron's mysterious death before she unwillingly joins the other side of her haunted tour.

This is a must read! Rose weaves such a good story and you will love her characters! As a matter of fact, you would do quite well to read all of her books!

I loved this book, I found it quick moving. I really enjoyed the friendship of Ripley and Tammy, real and believable. I like the growing relationship of Rip and Brannon. This book has it all a murder, likeable characters, unlikeable characters, some oddball characters and ghosts popping in. I had a few laugh out loud moments. The mystery had me guessing and switching back and forth as to who I thought did it Yes, there were a few editing errors and typos but I could live with that because I enjoyed the story so much. Definitely going to continue on with this series and I'm going to check out her other ones.

This was fun. I love the ghosts in this story and there is a huge revelation at the end! The ending was a bit rushed though.

Really enjoyed this book. It's well-written, and keeps your interest. Nice cozy read. My only complaint is that this seems to be the only book so far in the series.

12/18. Pretty good story. The ending was a little abrupt, but I don't know how it could have been done better. Pretty well written. Enjoyable if errors don't irritate you. The protagonist sure blew the hair out of her face a lot. It is not necessary to have "potty" talk in a novel. People wrote them for over 200 years without it. Several typos. Many, many errors in punctuation and grammar. Words used incorrectly and missing words. Me/my, you/your, in/into, on/onto... the author sees these incorrectly. Nouns and verbs must agree. Etc.

Love Pressey's take on ghosts and how they appear to the living. The scariest person was not a ghost! Great read, well written characters in a colorful little town. Loved it's!
