This compelling story beckoned me to read it in one sitting. The beautiful cover immediately sets the mood of the story that quickly unfolds. It gave me a fresh perspective on how people progressed and developed their better natures even in the most evil of times. The well-described, vivid characters of Thin Ice continue to populate my mind long after reading it and I welcome their presence. The classical writing style combined with the historical significance creates a book that can be appreciated for generations to come. The growth the characters achieve inspires me to strive to live with similar courage and commitment. Put simply, I loved the book and recommend it to be in every family’s library!
