About the Author
Floyd Thompkins has over twenty-five years of experience working with youth and young adults. Floyd was involved with developing and implanting programs for the students of Stanford and Princeton Universities where he served as an Assistant and an Associate Dean. He also established and maintained after school programs in rural South Georgia for several years. Floyd is an ordained minister and former pastor. As the CEO of the Jack Bower Fund he was the operational leader in field research and the piloting of projects for the Youth Potential curriculum. Floyd has a gift for reaching out to people of all ages and ethnicities. He is an extraordinary communicator and is particularly skilled at facilitating sensitive real-world subject material, making it fun, meaningful and relevant.
