***This is the fifth book in the series. First four books must be read in order to fully understand this story line.***
The game was over and they stole the victory away from ME.
Cheating. Lies. Corruption. Death.
This pawn never stood a chance.
But then he came for ME.
He plucked ME from my nightmare and kept me safe.
My heart was in tatters and my soul was lost.
Until the beast in ME woke up.
She was hungry and furious and didn't play by the rules of their game.
We were a vicious team. And we changed the game altogether. I took what was theirs because they took what was mine.
ME against them.
That is...until I had someone else with ME.
Someone who vowed to fight alongside ME until the very end.
I don't want the love he has for ME.
But the beast in ME still craves to take everything she deserves.
He should run far away from ME.
Instead, he runs straight for ME.
This is ME, baby and I am going to ruin them all.
This is Me, Baby is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you.

If you've read this series, or any of K Webster's books, you know that she's twisted. I had no idea how much until I read this line.... Tacos with ranch dressing. What kind of messed up horror show is this! Seriously, someone needs to take her depraved mind out back and force feed them to her. That's a whole new kind of evil. It must be dark romance if people are eating ranch tacos. A new circle of Dante's Inferno perhaps...With all the killers, psychos, and people who take without permission in this series, you think I'd be able to handle it but no. Tacos made me gag. Not sure how Calder would react since he has his daddy's stomach. Reading this series back to back makes it easier to spot things you might not normally. Larry the cucumber made me snort laugh and choke since I was eating at the time. Saucy little quips and out right hilarious conversations about/with Calder had me cracking up regularly. I mean Beiber seriously!!! This Is Me, Baby is a second chance book. Second chance for everything. Life isn't fair and no one knows that more than this seriously f-ed up crew. Love isn't always kind. Death isn't always merciful. And family...don't even get them started on that... I find with each new addition to the series a bigger piece of my obviously messed up heart falls for some (not all, sorry Hannah) of these people. People you hated are tolerated and dare say even loved. This family is pure in its own messed up way. Though I may still question what K Webster does in her free time, whether it's trying out new torture techniques or quilting, I am very grateful she shares the fruits of her writing time with us. Because only in her wild and crazy world do War and Peace coexist with utter chaos, several psychos, and baggage bigger than the Titanic. And since I'm venting, Ren is mine...Calder too FYI. I don't even know his story and if we will get it, but he's mine too. He's hot and can cook. Plus who else can rock a Blue's Clues beanie. Just saying....
The perfect blend of dark & deadly paired with hot & humorous! Oh yes, pay attention because this author has jokes! Just when I suspect she's finally going to wrap it all up, she throws another cliffhanger at me. I can't even bring myself to be mad about it! I'm just really excited I get to continue on this wildly outrageous, crazy and sometimes funny adventure with these characters. If there is one thing I can say about reading a K Webster book, it's that you best expect the unexpected. You NEVER know for sure where the story is going to go, so don't even try to guess. Just hang on tight because things are always going to get wild and crazy. I don't want to say too much about the story for fear of giving away any spoilers, but I will say this. Ren went and grew up in all the best ways! Boy went and learned himself some new "skills"! Once again I was blown away by the tension, chemistry and emotion in the story. I'm totally in awe of how she can take a guy who was 110% a villain in a previous book, and then turn around in the next book and craft him into a multi-dimensional character that you can't help but like. So, I'm really excited to see where she is going to take the characters in the next book.
