Sometimes, guys need a novel. Not a book about super villains or dinosaurs. No, sometimes, we need to think, feel. This is Witt, Tom Heim’s debut novel, enables this through a quirky, romantic, and rewarding story written for guys. But, it all isn’t introspective—along the way, we get to laugh, treat ourselves to a sex scene or two (comfortably). Most importantly, though, we examine the life of a man trudging through his twenties. Chris Witt is one of us. He’s aimless after college, caught up in a relationship he loathes but seemingly can’t escape. He wants so much more from life, as we all do. As we turn the pages of This is Witt, we follow along as Chris Witt falls wildly in love with the wrong woman at the wrong time, finally faces his boorish mother over a boat of sushi, even steals back his big black dog from his insufferable ex—all of this in a concise novel which can be enjoyed in a single reading (or two).
