AMAZING. I don't want to spoil anything but Book 3 stays true to the Jesse Ward we have loved since Book 1. I cried... i panicked... i laughed... i was on an emotional rollercoaster beginning to end. I took no breaks... could not put it down. Jodie Ellen Malpas is truly talented!!! I will continue to follow her career... she's going places! Its hard to have this trilogy come to an end but I couldn't be happier with these books. Cant wait to have a nice set of them on my bookshelf one day... right next to my other favorites. These are definitely going to be re-read throughout the years!

This was book three of the this man series and by far the BEST book I have read all year(which means a lot considering a read about 2-3 books a week). Erotic Romance is my thing, and this book fed my addiction. The story line was amazing and left me speechless on more than one occasion. I laughed out loud, I cried, and I covered my eyes at some points because I did not want to know what was coming next.(my husband thinks I'm crazy, lol) I love the length of the book it seemed to go on forever and never leaving me unsatisfied. READ THIS SERIES!!!!! You will not be disappointed, and book three is icing on a moist cake. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars is not enough.

I enjoyed the first 2 books but the third book trampled me. I have read a few trilogies and felt the endings were rushed, not this one. The characters stories all came full circle. Jessie's story made me fall for him hard. After learning what happens to him in his pass, I have no words to explain the pain I felt for him. He so deserved Ava and all the love that they worked so hard for. This is a true love story and well worth the read. Order all 3 at once you will not put it down, END OF!!!!!

Jesse and Ava were the most unlikeable characters I have ever read in any romance book and I have read hundreds. I love alpha males but he was not one. He was a bully, a liar, a cheater and deceitful. She had the least backbone of any female I've ever had the misfortune to read about. Her character is what absolutely ruined the book for many people I'm sure. She was also deceitful and a liar. Before I read another book by this author, I will have to know that the female lead is not a weak coward.

ABOUT THE BOOK: The Manor, the very place where their passionate love affair began, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives. She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse-and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally gotten beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise, leading Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy . . . but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess. MY REVIEW: I’m torn on this series, and having this book closing it out. And I’m torn for a few valid reasons. Okay, first and foremost let me just get this out there: I could not put this series down. But, as I came to this book I found it easier to do. Despite my issues with it, I was fully engaged. The drama really had my breath catching and with each page turned, there was some new twist that literally had me squeezing my e-reader tighter. Yes, it was that angsty. That being said, I have a few issues with this (these) books. One, the relationship these two are in is completely unhealthy. I have never had a hero and heroine that I have disliked so much or frowned upon so much in my entire reading life. That’s saying a bit, especially since Fifty Shades wasn’t so keen on the healthy relationships either. These two did more destruction to one another, hurt, and brought out the worst in each other more than any other couple I’ve read about or known. Which leads to my second issue. One moment the heroine would be strong, standing up for something she believes in, and rightly putting the hero in his place. In the next second she’d be on her back, having sex, and nothing would be resolved. It led to another circle altogether with additional issues to arise. It was extremely frustrating and I again, a huge turn off. The last issue was the writing. There was a lot of repetition and telling in this book, and I felt as if the two took me out of the character’s heads and reminded me I was merely reading the book, not experiencing it. Outside of those issues though, again, I would say I had to keep reading, and had to see what was going to happen next. I really wish I liked these two characters more, but if I’m completely honest, the only reason I continued to turn the page was because it was like a train wreck and I couldn’t look away. I will check out more from this author in the future, although if the characters are like this, I doubt I’ll finish them. All in all, I enjoyed this read. 3.5 stars out of 5.

This trilogy is fabulous! I couldn't put it down. This story should be ranked with Shades of Grey and Bared to You.

I go through books like candy, romance and erotic romance are my specialty. And I've never hated a book, until now. And I don't write reviews, I could not keep quiet on this book!    This series is disturbing on a whole new level. The relationship between the main characters is unhealthy on so many levels. Jesse Ward is a stalker, double standard extraordinaire, and possible psychopath. And Ava is a spineless coward, who is easily manipulated. There are moments where Ava will stand up for something, only to roll over in the next sentence. It's frustrating and disheartening that an author would encourage a relationship and a character like this.  Both book 1 and 2 have made me more livid than any other book. The people that give this 5 stars and review it favorably really worry me about how they perceive relationships. If you think Fifty Shades was troubling, then don't read this book. Fifty Shades looks like a freaking cake walk. And yes I liked that series.  Jesse Ward makes sex into a weapon. He uses it against Ava any time she has a thought or opinion or want not in line with his own. And of course Ava caves every time. And if she tries to back out of it, he mental degrades her and uses other means of force. The worst is when Jesse gets insanely mad and then tells Ava it’s all her fault. If she didn’t do this, or that, or whatever it was that time, then he wouldn’t be mad at her. He mentally abuses her. And lets not skirt around it, it’s mental abuse. Jesse is in the wrong and storms off. What does Ava do, cries because she’s hurt then runs after him to apologize and make it all better. And by making it all better she lets him have control over her again. Or gives into his every demand. It’s sick and twisted.  Jesse tries to mold Ava into everything other women aren't. She can't swear, she can't wear certain clothes, she can't drink without him, she can't live in her own place, she can't be mad at him, she can't have a job, she can't see male clients, she can't collect her things from her ex, she can't say no to him. The list is endless in what she can and can't do! Everything must be approved of by Jesse. While Jesse can do anything he wants. Ava playfully says that Jesse "tramples her." No he destroys her, he bulldozes over her life like he has a right too.  He claims to "love her." I'm worried on what the author actually defines love as. Because Jesse seems to think love means endless control and manipulation. To transform the person into a complete doormat, who can't breathe without permission. And the double standards gag me! She can't swear ever! Yet he uses foul language all the time. She can't work with male clients, yet he runs a sex hotel where he's had sex with the clients on numerous occasions and employs and works closely with a woman he has had sex with. And he sees nothing wrong with this. Yet, poor little insecure cave-in Ava is fighting to just be able to keep her job.  On top of that Jesse is taking her birthcontrol pills. ....Creepy! And again unhealthy. I suppose the plan is to trap her.  These two characters are destructive and harmful to each other.  Look, I love a good Alpha male story and a dominating plot line, but this is ridiculous! I've never not finished a book or a series. As other reviewers have commented, this book is a train wreck. It's even gotten to the point where I roll my eyes and skip the sex scenes. Because they are all the same. Jesse's being childish and using sex as a weapon. And Ava will pretend to have a spine and a personality. But within a few seconds, she'll cave, he will win and again regain absolute control over her life.  And don't get me started on the 'friend’, Kate. I don't know of any friends that would let an angry raging man into their apartment if their friend pleads with them not too. And then say 'it's for their own good.' And that they 'like him.' Kate is even seen comforting Jesse after he gush physically forced Ava into his car! Instead of being worried about the state of her friends well being, Kate, is trying to comfort Jesse. There is even a scene where Kate asks Jesse if Ava and them can have a girls night. ...Think about that, a friend is asking another's boyfriend for permission to do something with her friend. And if Jesse had said no, they wouldn't have gone out. Every other character in the book laughs off Jesse’s insanity and brutality as if it’s funny. As if it’s normal and there isn’t anything terrifyingly disturbing about it. If this was a real life situation Jesse would have been arrested. Or at least Ava would be encouraged to get a restraining order.  To sum up these two books: disappointing, frustrating, disgusting, sad, disturbing, and bursting with unhealthy relationships. Please don't waste your money, your time, or your healthy state of mind.

Loved all three books! Ava and Jesse have a wonderful story with lots of ups and downs. I would tell everyone to just get the books and read them all before making any judgements. The 3rd book really pulls everything together and the ending is great!

I was hesitating to read this book, but Thank the LORD I did not. I love it. It was a total rollercoaster with emotions. You love them and then you hate them and back to loving the characters. I would not change anything from this story.

Are you guys 13 yrs old, or just some rich people that never had to deal with life circumstances and rough times in relationships because you bought your way out? I have been married 15 yrs to the same man, and trust me it aint easy. We can both, at times, be selfish, immature, manipulative, errogant jerks, etc., towards each other. But we love one another to our cores, and he drives me insane (sexually). Thats ALL REAL relationships. Unless you live in a land of avoidence and oblivion.

It just gets better with each book and the struggles still to come for Jesse and Ava.

I was really sad when I finished reading. I wanted more! I enjoyed this out of the three the best. I have never laughed and cried so much when reading a book. I have read the Fifty Shades of Grey and I honestly like this trilogy better. The story is great, the characters are likable and the sex is awesome. This trilogy should be a movie!

This Man Confessed killed it! Thank you Jodi for giving us Jesse Ward. He will always hold a special place in my heart for years to come. We get the ending of This Man series. It was time and even though we get the conclusion, we still have a few hurdles to over come. Like when Ava leaves Jesse the day after their wedding!!! Yes the drama never goes away people. Enough of the spoiler there. Jesse and Ava find their own dynamics within the relationship. Ava is finally showing Jesse that he needs to be less controlling and more willing to trust. Trust that no one will tear them apart. Then one last secret comes out and Ava is done! She is through of the lies and being manipulated by Jesse once and for all. Living separately she is miserable and lets Kate help her to try to move on. Or so she thinks that is what her friend is trying to do. In the last book Ava tried so hard to break Jesse's walls and even put herself through so much pain and torment. That was a painful scene and you would think Jesse would get it by now. He is through with Sarah's lies and kicks her out of The Manor. Now the tables have turned and Ava has a huge secret that she has been keeping from Jesse. It eventually becomes a lie. And once it comes out I really thought these two were over. You really have to read all three books in order as they continue from where the previous book leaves off. As I mentioned before, I have been a fan of this series for years and enjoyed my re-read the last few days. Jesse Ward commanded my heart and he will get yours to if you give him an inch.
