About the Author

My love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when I was raising a young family. It wasn't until much later in life I actually took up the pen to write. I wish I could have gotten to this point in my career much sooner rather than later but, life simply got in the way far too many times. I know because of those detours I have become a more passionate and expressive writer because I can draw upon those painful moments in my past when I need to create the kind of raw human emotion I want my readership to feel. My wish is that my readers walk away with not just an entertaining read but the importance in knowing, "Without imagination & dreams, we lose the excitement of wonderful possibilities." PLEASE leave a review to help others discover my work. I would be so very appreciative.

The Broken Princess meet her Knight in Shining Armor I loved this book. It symbolizes that no matter how low your life gets that there is always someone willing to help and love you. Alana Waverly is a strong, smart and selfless woman who has had her heart broken many times and is afraid of letting someone else into her heart only for it to be broken again. She has 2 children who are all grown up and have families of their own. She is in a bit of financial trouble at the moment but she is trying to keep her spirits up but its hard when you have no money to buy anything and to pay her rent. Its only when she is walking down the stairs of the apartment block that she bumps into Dylan Clayburn. At the start she tries to ignore him but it doesn’t work. She starts to think that she could have a relationship with him, but when that thought went out the window she had an accident. Dylan Clayburn is a successful business man that has lost his father to cancer and he has taken over his fathers company. He loves his father no matter what, he hasn’t gotten over the fact his father is no longer with them. The day that Dylan met Alana on the stairwell of their apartment building he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He wanted to get to know her more and more everyday and when the accident happened he couldn’t stop himself from staying at the hospital and sorting everything out for her and her children so that they didn’t need to worrying about it. The relationship between them is like a roller coaster but he is not giving up on it. The story goes on from the day after she gets out of hospital and she is still trying to push him away and he won’t let her so he gives her her space and time to deal with all the emotional and physical stuff that is going on with her. It was love at first sight for Dylan but it took Alana a bit more time to realize that Dylan wasn’t like any of the other guys that she had gone out with and that he would never break her heart. This book is a good read if you want to curl up on the sofa and have a relaxing day at home and no-one bothers you. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I absolutely adored this book! Hands down my favorite book from this author, so far. (Although I am crazy about her other books, as well.) Alana Waverly has fallen on hard times. Money is running thin, bills are piling high and an eviction looms near. When she meets the handsome Dylan Clayburn, she immediately throws a wall up between them. Past heartaches have taught her that people are not to be trusted...especially smooth-talking men. This book was a huge gift to me. Life isn't always a Hallmark movie. Sometimes we go through rough periods. And more often than not, during those rough times, we feel alone. To read about Alana's struggles (knowing too, that the author's own personal story is weaved throughout the book) brought such a smile to my heart. There is something comforting about a person admitting that hardships happen, that sometimes we don't have it all together; but that healing and happy ever-after can be found and kept.
