Three Deadly Drops: A Donald Youngblood Mystery based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
The fifth book in the Donald Youngblood Series is the best yet! Lots of twists and turns as Blood races to find six men connected by their past in Desert Storm. Recently someone told me that while waiting for this book to be available, that they went back and started the series over, yes: back to Book 1, Three Deuces Down so they could focus on Donnelly's "story telling." This is a writer that began with his characters and lets the story unfold around them - we all want to know what is going to happen next to the characters we have grown to know and love. I would recommend these books to anyone who wants to invest in a compelling and well written series.
This fourth book in the series shows a lot of growth and maturity for Donald Youngblood! Some people like the jacket design and think the book is about the military and it is sort of but not quite! It still has all the elements of the three other books but Donnelly has had to work hard to put all the pieces together! You literally are "held captive" and simply have to continue reading to find out what is going to these characters that I have come to think of as my friends. If you like Parker's "Spencer" you will love this series by an up and coming fresh voice in the detective mystery genre!
