These three stories are either actual experiences, reminiscences, or magical thoughts.
The Writer With No Name is based on an irrational fear of public speaking, a life long experience, with reminiscences and original thoughts to round out the story.
A Horse of A Different Dimension is a combination of experience, magical thought, and reminiscence and happened in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1995.
Once Upon a Soul is based upon feelings and magical thought.

About the Author
Hazel is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy. She is a Certified Instructor with Alexander Art, Inc. In the late 1980's her art work could be seen at many "fine arts" shows on the Pacific Coast. Her work was featured at a one woman show at the Golden Gnome Gallery in Benicia, California in 1987. In 1989 her work was in the Las Vegas Artist's Co-op Gallery; her unique journal books in their matching boxes were in a Keizer Art Association Gallery show in 2005.
She is also a published poet and writer; has served on the board of the Oregon State Poetry Association, also set up and maintained their website for several years; was an active member of Capital Calligraphers in Salem, Oregon, editing and publishing the quarterly newsletter and maintaining their website; is now teaching paper arts at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico, and is a founding member of Three Rivers Women's Collective.
