About the Author

One day some words came to mind, so I wrote them down. Soon the words became sentences, which formed paragraphs, which, in turn, formed chapters. Before long, those words had become a book.

When I'm not reading or writing, I'm a wife, mother, and business owner. I've lived on the Gulf, East, and West Coasts, but as a born and raised Southern girl, my favorite will always be the Gulf Coast. There's just no place like home...

Original review @ 125Pages.com Through Infinity is another mother gets amnesia and forgets her husband and family tales. I thought I would instantly like the book when reading the author’s note she calls out that the book has cussing and is unapologetic about it. But sadly I did not love Through Infinity. I have read a few amnesia stories this year and some have been very good (Wake-Up Call) but this one was just okay. I actually thought the cursing was forced at times and unnecessary in certain scenes. Now I have no issue with cursing and do my fair share of it, but there is a time and place for it and certain utterances in the story seemed to have no purpose other than to make sure a curse was in the chapter. Aside from that I also had a problem figuring out some minor plot points. A person, place or company would be named to the amnesia sufferer with no explanation of what it was and she was just fine and I was confused. The pacing was good and the story flowed in a mostly logical manner. The world building was a little off as mentioned before, I was unsure what certain references were. At the heart of the story the family was well portrayed and I enjoyed that the children had issues, angst and were at times just brats. In some books the kids are seen but not heard or they are perfect angels and I enjoyed that there were realistic in this one. Through Infinity, to me, suffered from trying to be too many things at once; a hip book where the f-bomb is tossed around, a wholesome family tale where the children are homeschooled yet still socialized and a chick lit amnesia tale. If one direction was picked, I think it would have been more successful. I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

*I received an ARC of this book for my honest review* "I woke up one day and everything I knew has changed, not just changed, it had disappeared into a clouded either of tangled thoughts and missing pieces. My life had become a puzzle. Unfortunately, all of the pieces weren't there to put the puzzle back together." What an absolutely amazing book!! Through Infinity is a roller coaster of emotions, it was utterly heartbreaking at times, then the next minute you're laughing and sharing in the joy and love of this amazing family! Imagine waking up in the hospital and not remembering the last 18 years of your life, not remembering your husband and your four children. Well, that is what happens to Candice Woodruff, who is our main character in Through Infinity. We journey with her and her family as she works on rediscovering herself and rediscovering the love she had for her husband Jason and children again. Jason is the best husband you could possibly ask for, he is so supportive and loving and an absolutely amazing father! The kids are so much fun, they add a lot of comic relief to the story. Overall, if you want a feel good read then this is the book for you!! ”I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I know I love you more, through infinity and beyond...forever and a day.”

**I was given an ARC for an honest review** If you are expecting an erotic romance this book is not for you. It’s about a family struggling to bring the matriarch of their family back in love with them. It’s about one woman’s struggle to rediscover her own identity, fall back in love with the husband, and find her maternal love for her beautiful children. What would you do if you woke up one day and suddenly couldn’t remember a thing about yourself? Everyone is telling you that you are happily married with four kids and you don’t recognize any of them? What would you do if you were madly in love with your wife and suddenly she doesn’t remember you or how much she loved you? You are a complete stranger to her. How would you cope? How would you feel if your own mother didn’t know who you were? Didn’t even remember the milestones of your life? This book may not be your typical boy meets girl, has hot sex, some drama makes it hard, but there’s more hot sex and they get a HEA, but what it IS, is an amazing, beautiful, humorous second chances story. The characters are strong, funny, and you can’t help but feel connected to them. You can’t help but cheer them on. This book is completely worth taking a break from the lady porn for a little while. Many lessons to be learned, and you may find yourself doing some self reflection and reassessing the blessings in your life that you maybe take for granted a little.

I can not convey all of the feels that I got from this story. As I read this book,(which I did in one sitting, because I absolutely could not put it down)I felt like I was actually having this experience myself. Libby does an amazing job of bringing the reader into the story. Through Infinity was an absolute emotional roller coaster. There was sadness, love, kindness, anger ,frustration, patience, and even a little bit of lust. The main character, Candice, wakes up in a hospital and is not sure what happened to her. She sees unfamiliar faces, and when the familiar faces of her parents show up, something is off. They are definitely her parents, but they look older. The last memories Candice has, is of being 23, but she soon finds out, that she is 40. She has completely lost 18 years worth of memories, and a lot happened in those 18 years. She got married and had four children. When she is allowed to go home, she decides that she needs to learn to be a mom again for the sake of her children, but what about her husband? she remembers dating a younger him, but does not feel like she loves him, how can she, she doesn't remember falling in love with him and marrying him. Can Candice learn to be a mother and wife again. Will Jason be able to make Candice remember, or at least fall in love with him again? Will he have the patience to wait it out? As you read the story, you will laugh, cry(I did a couple of times, which does not happen often or easily when I read), and curse, but most of all you will hope and love. I feel like I can never do this book justice with my words. I don't want to give too much information and spoil anything. This book is most definitely worth the read. I will warn you, the epilogue stabbed me in the heart, so beware.

Through infinity is a beautifully written story.  It is a story that leaves you feeling happy and opens your heart to the power of love.  In the world we live in, a story of a strong family renews my faith in the power a loving family.  The couple in the family experienced a terrible, earth-shattering event and I loved having a front seat to all the events that transpired.  Libby was able to bring the emotions of the terrible to situation to life but at the same time brought in a little humor.  I felt like I was the person telling the story and I could feel the emotions.  Libby did an amazing job with this story and I look forward to reading more of her work.
