Paul and Melissa are thrown together due to spring run off and significant storms roaring through their town of Timber Springs. Along with their story to solve mysteries and to find their pathway together with family and faith, the reader learns about characters in the rest of the town. This is the first book I've read by this author and found it well written however was confused through the first chapters with characters from the first book in the series which I had not read. Would have been better if read in sequence. Good story of faith , finding the truth and God's plan . Ebook from Netgalley and publishers with thanks.

What a fast-paced page-turner! There is plenty of drama on every page – from the danger of creek bursting its banks during storms to family members and friends learning to deal with each other during this chaos. Set in a small town – it feels homey and proves that everyone’s lives are twined with each other. Definitely full of many different characters and names so it can be a workout for the brain to keep it all straight. The first book helps with that – so if you can, read that first. Secrets, hair-raising danger, medical emergencies, hometown romance, family drama, this book has it all! I received this story from Celebrate Lit for an honest review.

With all the recent flooding this book gives you an up close account of what a small town in the path of flood waters is up against. Each person is affected in some way. The action is fast paced and there were some surprising twists and turns that made for some interesting family drama with some unexpected results in the midst of chaos. The author had me holding my breath as the danger grew from all directions. It really did seem like... everyone's life seemed to be hanging by a thread. I was gifted a copy for review,.

This was a very good read. I was a little confused as to who was who at times because the characters are all in an upheaval because of the terrible storms and flooding that is going on. This is the s cond book in this series and I slightly recommend that you read the first in the series so you know who all the characters are. This book never really takes a breather and you are going through the tempest much like the characters. I loved the tiny bit of romance and the intrigue throughout the story. I loo forward to reading more in this series and especially the first one. I revived a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion.

An early spring storm sends a deluge on the tiny hamlet of Timber Springs and the creek crests its banks. Prominent members of the Fitzgerald family jump into action to rescue the flooded town. Paul Fitzgerald, the town’s pharmacist, puts together a team to rescue surveyors stranded at mountain cabin. Melissa Hampton works for a large timber company and finds herself in the fray locating equipment for her boss and the town’s rescue. She gets caught up in the search for the surveying team due to her concern for Paul, the man she loves. While more than a rescue attempt plays out at the cabin, Melissa and Paul become acutely aware they may not survive their ordeal. Ms. Blare writes with a great deal of emotion and impact. The story progresses at a rapid pace making it hard to put down.

Through Raging Waters by Renee Blare is my first read by this new to me author. This books starts just as nature is about to release a life changing flood on the town of Timber Ridge. As I started reading this book I felt like I was running with these characters as they tried to save lives, property, and sanity. There was a lot going on and at first it just seems that the main culprit is nature itself, however as the story progresses there is a whole different flood that is about to be released and that one nature has nothing to do with. This is a story that follows the Fitzgerald clan and other townspeople. This is a second in the series and read ok as a standalone, but I think I missed out on some of the deeper relationship ties by not reading the first. This book has a lot going on from nature, romance, family drama, to mystery and action. I am intrigued and would like see some more resolutions for the other siblings in this family. This book reminded me of author Susan May Warren’s stories, especially with the large family dynamics. I received a copy of this book through Celebrate Lit and the opinions are my own honest ones.

Raging Waters is book 2 in the Snowy Range Chronicles. The action begins on page one and doesn't stop until the last page. Renee does a great job showing how the storms in life mimic the storms of nature and neither leave you the same. This is a buckle up and hang on to the edge of your seat read. Anyone who knows anything about the Rockies will understand the ride this story takes. If your not familiar with this area no worries as Renee does a wonderful job helping you visualize it. The Characters in Raging Waters are as exciting and rugged as the storm itself. Can they all survive what lies ahead or will the storm win out? I give this 5 adventurous stars.

This is the second book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I do recommend also reading To Soar on Eagle's Wings to learn more about Paul and Melissa, the main characters in the book. I have enjoyed every book I have read by this author, and this one was no exception. Renee has combined the drama and danger of dealing with flooding, faith and romance and some mystery and suspense to write a book that kept me reading to see what could possibly happen next. Her writing definitely pulled me into the story and had me feeling as I was on the sidelines witnessing all that was going on. I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review, and this is another book from this author that I certainly recommend.
